Received call on my cell phone 10-21-11
Lady on phone, Lisa Perkins said I owed money from a July 29, 2010 payday loan.
I was to call her back by Monday with information otherwise they will garnish my wages.
I do not have a loan with "PAYDAY LOAN"
Any loans I did get online - I have all my receipts, names of people I talked to,etc.
This has to be a SCAM!
I do not plan on calling her back...if she calls me - I will tell her: "call my attorney"

Once again, these scam artists are calling - using different numbers of course.  As was mentioned back in August of this year, I am not a stupid human being and I will not pay for something that I do not owe.  I have decided to get an attorney in on this matter as I want the calls to stop.  I have a feeling that my attorney will get to the bottom on this and instead of them asking me for money, I will be asking for money from them and possibly sending them all to jail.  The reason you can't understand the individuals calling you  --  they are the only ones that will work for their scam -- they need the money as they can't get other legitimate jobs.  These scam artists used  to go by the name of Ellis Crosby out of Florida.  They are the biggest scam artists of the decade.  My advise to you is, get an attorney.  There are many good attornies that will take your case and will only charge you a percentage of what you win and I am sure on this one - you will win and they will get sent to jail.  We can shut them down if we all join together, get attornies and shut these sammers down for good!

I just received a phone call from 8776015871 ext 249 saying she received a charge off notice on a payday loan that was returned NSF on 7/29/10, but could only tell me that is was a loan of $700 that was returned and then charged off on 7/29/10.  It could have been anywhere from 18 months to 2 years prior and that a suspension will be put on my Drivers License if I didn't pay the $1400 or make arrangements with a credit card, prepaid card or a debit card.  They do have all of my banking information but unless I gave them permission they could not draft it.  I told her I would have to call her back on Monday.  I called the Driver License place you can't have your license suspended unless you don't pay a ticket or CPS is called.  A loan default doesn't qualify.  I know this is a scam. BEWARE!!!!!!!

I just received a call from Mrs. Hardey, stating they were going to garnish my wages and to call her back.  FRAUD!!!!!!

I received a call from Mrs. Campbell, and stated that, my wages will be garnished if I didn't call her.

I have no idea who this woman is but, her threatning call are annoying Who can I talk to regarding this matter? Thanks for your time. R. Evans

I got a message from Debra Cook, to call her at 877-601-5871 X254 and to ask for Mrs. Cook.  When I called back to hear the name of the company the answer was "hello can I help you"  - I hang up...is the same thing with different people.  I have been thru this before and they are all SCAM!

I received a call back in July on my cell phone from Ms. Perkins and she gave me a PO Box 2988 Omaha, Nebraska 60183, but then this morning when I got to work there was a message from Miss Riley and she stated the address is PO Box 876 Omaha Nebraska 68103.. These people are fake they were starting garnishment way back in July and like the rest had no information of who wanted the garnishment.. Can we say BOGGESS...

got a call stating that they were going to garinsh my wages and I needed to call Ms. Parker back at 877-601-5871 ext. 250 but the call came from 630-486-1900. This is such a scam and needs to be stopped even the no call list works.

They called me at work want it stop.Threating wage garnishment.

They are back! Same numbers mentioned and same as you all have written but Indians replaced now with nice speaking lady to arrange mediation with National Payday Loan with payment payback options available using a prepaid credit or debit card. (my opinion why-no banker involved/immediate funds available). Called from one number 630-486-1900 but asked to call this number. Stated called several times before from their client but want to work out a settlement. I freaked upon call but recalled this company mentioned so I went searching and have found this wealth of information. I believe it's a scam due to previous comments and dealings. Not sure what to do next. Keep giving feedback anyone and anytime. And btw references will be called and equally harassed as well as your work number(s). No information to be sent by the way or can company names be researched. And yes if you mention prior calls and events, sympathy given, but then they change subject back to settlement if a loan which they cannot give you specifics about.

I almost got taken again!!!!! The calls from 630 486 1900 started last week, you would think that I had learned my lesson at the beginning of the year!!! Well, I did stop and think and realized that the person calling me, a Ms. Hardy, never told me the name of the agency she is representing, then I decided that maybe I should call back and I was told that there computers had been down for the last two days!!!!! I then spoke with Mr. Garza who told me that he was unable to access my information because their computers were down, I asked him what the name of the agency was and the line went dead!

One more thing, when I was taken at the beginning of the year the calls were from somewhere in India, but the calls that started last week were from persons well versed in the English language, they sound very American!!! Watch out!!!

Received a call today from a Ms. Hardy said it was a personal business matter.  Afraid to call after reading all the comments above.  I would think if it was legitimate they would send a certified letter or at least a letter in the mail.  Can't believe that any company on the up and up would conduct business like this.

Scammers.  See the FBI website under scams and safety and you'll find info on this scam.  Same old group of extortionists, different number.

Have received numerous calls from this number by different people claimeing i owe for something i did not get. If this persists, do as I did and call your local police dept and file a report on phone scams and fraud. The FBI is investingating thousands of these fraud cases. Whatever you do.... DO NOT call them back and give them any of your personal info. If you should snswer the call, PLEASE DO threaten them with calling a lawyer as well as the police. This is harrassment at it's best. This will hopefully stop them from calling you.

I got a call abouyt granishing my wages.  If I owe money I pay it.

I have also had 3 calls from a Ms. Foster from 630-486-1900, but was asked to call 877-601-5871 ext. 260.  I told Ms. Foster that my attorney would be calling her.  I asked her to please not call my work number anymore.  I also had the Indian people calling me before Ms. Foster started.  I told them that I had turned them over to the FTC.  I have not heard from them since that time.  My question is, how can they call from one number and ask that you call them back at a different number and not expect any suspicion on our parts

Received about 3-4 calls at home saying the same thing.  Called my HF Department yesterday as as "heads up" courtesy call, and I was told that neither myself or anyone else has gotten any wage garnishment proceeding against them, thank God.  But she did say that if anything did come in, she would give me a call, just to let me know.  The number is 877-601-5871, ext. 239, and I even received a file number!!!!!  They called themselves EWA.

877-601-5871 they have all kinds of ext Maria Garcia ext 249, Miss Riley ext 259, Ms Perkins she didn't want to give an ext. First they said had loan from United cash loans probably about 6 mos ago??? Today I got a call stating payday one, hmmmmm tt/ to both companies and they said these people are frauds and not to give any information I told them I didn't need to because they had all my info both companies informed me to ignore them (KINDA OF HARD WHEN THEY HAVE SS# AND BANK INFO)they have contacted many many ppl that ever had a payday loan trying to collect money.. DON"T DO IT THEY ARE INDEED FRAUDS.

got a couple messages on my voicemail at work from a Mrs. Hardy, 877-601-5871 at extension 249, saying it  was a personal business matter and about a wage garnishment she received at her office.  No company name or about what debt they were trying to collect.  This was first time the person actually sounded like an American.  The rest of the time these callers sound east indian and use very americanized names.  interesting.
