I am aware of that. I was addressing the complaints as I have had the name experience DESPITE reporting them!

I just got a call from a process server from an out of state number 315 307 0663 asking for me by my maiden name. Cell phone is in my husbands name??  They told me a legal matter and to call 866 620 0824.  Not calling anyone, especially after looking up this number. And they called early in the a.m.!

I recd a call asking me to call this number regarding a legal complaint. I have nothing on my credit history so not sure how they got my name and number as I'm on a DNC list.  there is no legal complaint that I am aware of. Girl who answered told me they are collections attorneys. Spoke to Taylor? Tylor? I disputed this as I have stellar credit and no debt. She inistsed that I pay or they will pursue. Hung up. Scam.

I got a call from someone syaung there is a legal complaint against me and to call this number. I spoke to a gentleman who asked for my file number....I wasn't given a file number. He then looked it up by my phone number. I told him. I shouldn't have anything against me as far as legal things. He told me a outstanding bill . why wouldn't I get a bill in the mail.,he said its a delinquent account..what delinquent account? Started arguing telling me they have Better Business rating of A plus, I said well let me look at my records and bank . sounded professional but I dont know what to think? He told me they are an accredited business and operating to coll3ct on debts in accordance with the law. I cant afford to pay the 3000 they say i owe. I said I will call back but he said by calling them I am,liable as the statute of the debt starts from this day on??? Will I get arrested? Or what happens?  Is there a way to contact original place debt stems from?  I dont know what to think. Any assistance appreciated,

I just called them back on my google # 5 time and turned on gay pron lol they listen for 4-5 min ea time

This company called me today pretending that a civil law suit had been filed against me in order to try to "collect a debt." Yet they didn't identify themselves as a debt collector. They called and said, "'Someone' has filed a civil complaint against you in the amount of $8000+ and we are trying to settle it with you before there's a 'judgement' against you." I said, "Someone has filed a civil lawsuit against me? I never got served or received anything in the mail. So that's strange." The first woman then said that yes, someone had "filed a claim" and she worked for a law firm that was trying to help me settle the claim out of court. She still didn't mention who her "client" was. I asked her multiple times the name of her client. Then she put me on hold and said, "If you don't pay this now, it's going to go to court, and you are going to rack up more fees, and then lose, and you don't want that to happen, so you need to pay it now." I then  asked her AGAIN who the "client" was and who had filed a "claim" against us, and she replied, "Juniper," really quickly so I couldn't understand her. I said, "Who?" She said, "Juniper," again really quickly so that I couldn't understand her. I said, "Are you saying JUNIPER? I don't owe anyone named Juniper any money." She said, "Well you have a credit card, a Visa, with Juniper bank, and they are our client and need to collect this debt." I said, "You didn't tell me you were attempting to collect a debt when you got on the phone, so I know you aren't a debt collector. Are you  a law firm?" She said, "We work with attorneys, yes." I said, "That's not what I asked. Are you a law firm?" She then said, "I'm just going to let this judgement go through against you," and promptly hung up on me. So then I was mystified by this very fishy phone call, and by the minute more convinced that it was a scam. So I immediately called right back and a man who identified himself as "Ryan Simmers" answered and I reiterated the previous phone call. He said "Yes, I don't know who you talked to before, but we are a legitimate company, and we have an A+ rating with the BBB, and we have a website you can look at." I then asked who the client was who had filed a "claim" against us, and he said "Juniper." I said, "Juniper bank is your client?" Again he repeated, "Yes." I said, "Well that's funny because Juniper was bought out by another bank in 2005, Barclay's, and they don't exist anymore." Then he said, "Well we're just going to let this judgement go through." And then HE hung up on me. These are not legitimate business people. They are pulling credit reports and using scare tactics to try to get people to pay them money over the phone, and when they realize you're on to them, they promptly hang up on you."

They have been calling me for months.  I told them to send me something in writing both times.  They threaten to shut down my bank accounts, take me to court, etc...  They called me from 408-389-3742 and had me call 877-218-0291.  They have threatened to put a lien on my car (which isn't paid for).  I am so angry and frustrated.  I told them I knew it was a scam and to not call me anymore.  Is there something else I can do about it?

They kept calling, leaving  messages about pending litigation, also saying that they were taking my 2018 tax refund. I  blocked the number and they called my son! I called them, and they wouldn't tell me what the name of the company was, just ACC. The first girl was Carmen. Then Taylor. Then Ann. Finally got the name Apex with a claim to an A+ rating with the BBB. Funny that the BBB told me that the number didn't return a client file... it was the 4083893739 number i gave the BBB in 408 area. Anyway, they said they're going to serve me papers at my house or my job, and I'd have to go to court. They knew where I work, my DOB, the last 4 of my social. She mentioned the name of the original creditor and i said i dont owe them anything and I don't even know what youre talking about, and I am disputing it, all day every day. I said some other truly foul things, not gonna lie. I was very angry.

Couple questions for you: 1, did this caller mail you proof of the debt, verifying they were legally entitled to collect it, or did you just give them money because they told you to?
2, what is the legal name and business address of this company?
3, why did you look up the phone number when you already know who it belongs to?

This Apex  called my house and my brother house. I don’t even know my brothers house phone to give out so how are these ppl or person getting my info. They call my brother house and my niece said they guy called a case number out and ask if I lived there. My niece told this person I do not live there and he hung up in her face. Ten minutes later this number 888-204-9932 called my moms house and asked for me. I called this number back bc this is weird, a girl answer and asked for a case number which I gave and said ask if I was who she called for. I started asking her questions like why are you calling here, and what is this about..she didn’t want to answer anything. I told her if she can’t tell me anything I can’t tell her anything either. She started talking trash saying don’t get an attitude w/her! I went off!! Told me I was ghetto and hung up on me, I called back and she kept hanging up! She finally pick up again and I told her she better not ever call my number again with her scamming! She laughed and told me I’m lucky she was getting off wrk.

Apex contacted me just an hour ago. Woman named Taylor said that they are looking to take me to court over a civil complaint. Scam. I asked where it was filed she said its a debt. No one files complaints over debts..they try to use legal jargon. Its a Scam operation thru and thru.,not to mention its an 800 number.

Hi. I ve received a call from a company called Apex capital as well, just with a different number.  The contact person o spoke to is Tyson Harvey and his assistant's name is Taylor.  I did pay them bc everything they said was true. The 866- 619-6316 ext. 2306 number was valid up until last wk (my last payment.) When I called at the beginning of last month,  Tyson wasn't available so I spoke to someone named Shannon Myers,  when I gave her my file #, she couldn't find it so she asked if I had a case with them. After finding it (she said she put in a wrong number or letter)I should have caught it then but by that time,  I was already out of money. What if anything can I do?

Do what I'm gonna there sonny. I read that post really well and now I'm going out and getten a lawyer an suein them.

Taylor called stating i owe a credit card company from 2001 so i called the credit card company they told me my account was closed when my bankruptcy got discharged

I was called by apex capital consulting. They threatened to put liens on my car, my pay check, take me to court and such. All on a debt that was over 10 years ago, I'm an idiot, I fell for it, I got scared I gave them my debit card number and they took a payment of 205 bucks. I might of signed something electronically that said I will take care of the debt. Even if this place is a scam will I be held liable for this contract?

same thing happened to us.  We set up auto pay and documents were signed.   how does fix this?

Cancel the card you gave them. If they've taken a payment already, report the fraudulent charge as well.
If they call you again, demand they follow the law by mailing you proof of the debt along with proof they're legally entitled to collect said debt.

These people are scammers they are calling me threatning to take me to jail or even take my vehicle which is crazy because I have not recieved anyrhing in the mail from them just constant phone calls the orginal number is out of service.
