Owned by Tyler Stone according to papers filed with that department.  The address used in 2015 to register the company was  36077 Mustang Spirit ln Wildomar, CA 92595 which is a residence.  I can't say that Tyler still lives there after 5 years though.

Ah okay..different company altogether and if its a UPS store then I my suspicions were not unfounded.  However acxording to what you posted they have a Legal ID#? Still not sure what to believe but I am not handing over my hard earned money to a debt collector when I dont have enough information.  And CA? Not even close to the correct state? They can harass my ex wife

I paid these guys only to find out it was a scam all along....my fault 100% .They threatened me with a civil complaint filed by Verizon. Thought I might owe it as they had my birthday, my ss number, address .... in my early 18s to 20s I was irresponsible so heck...sounded real. Spoke to a Taylor Sheilds. Internet and email verified. Even saw a webpage and they explained they bought the debt from, Verizon and were trying to collect on thier behalf.    Filed a complaint to FTC. Hope I get my money back. The number is now disconnected.  I'm a fool I guess.

You will not get your money back unless you file a dispute with your bank, assuming that you paid them with a debit or credit card.  Your alternative is to file an FDCPA lawsuit against them and claim the payment as actual damages.  Read the rest of the posts in this thread for more information.

Thank you will do just that. Paid with a credit card.  Can't believe I fell for it....its not your everyday scammer. They have website, agents and email addresses. Had all my information. Said it was a civil complaint from 2002 and back then I was not responsible . Now that the number is "disconnected" really have egg on my face.

Rather than feel shame take the knowledge and counter act. I work in the banking industry and thanks to our current state and remote working this scam seems to be popping up frequently and I am no stranger to these calls. I actually got called s well But I knew what to do and how the informing may have been obtained. rather than berate you or be sarcastic and tell you to "read" I want to educate you on what's known as zombie debt. These call centers buy accounts that are no longer active for pennies and then try to collect. They may be yours. May not be due to a clerical error. Where Alex is going wrong is threatening civil litigation and misrepresenting themselves. Zombie collection in itself isn't illegal but the actions outlined by FDCPA show you what can or cannot be done. Best of luck.

This particular company has multiple names and phone numbers. If you look up the name of this "organization" and really do your research  of  these Debt Scavengers..I mean "Collectors"... there are all in either Temecula, CA or Murietta CA..it is all the same . Tons of names, numbers and false business names. All Debt Scavangers. Same group of people trying to make a buck off of decades old debt. Same people, same game. It's all BS!

Understood. My point was to Allen that there are NUMEROUS business names these people go by aside from ACC and TDS.
