get a call from this # at least 2-3 times per day for the last 2 weeks. I do not answer calls I don't know, so thanks to those of you who did so I know that it is Sprint driving me crazy!

This is a SPRINT number. I'm sure that they got my number from Sprint or Nextel. They only offer additional lines, or promotional items. My advice, if you want something, YOU call them. This could be a scam.

Get calls from this number, everyday, twice a day & we are on the "Do Not Call" List...not that effective, is it?

Had received numerous calls from an earlier 877 number, so I texted them to put me on their do not call list. I researched the number and it looks like a number from sprint calling.   Now a different 877 number is calling...hmmm..coincidence?

I got calls from this number very early around 7:00am Sunday morning.  I called Sprint to stop calling me but it still goes on.  What the hell they're trying to do?

Roothless "Sprint" agent who knows false info about account stating that an upgrade is due and if I give them a credit card number they can keep my plan current.  B.S.  Not legit SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

Someone trying to sell you Sprint service or promotion.  They called, I answered, they never answered.  Talk about treating your PAYING customers nicely.

Received a call on 4/08/08.  Didn't pick up because I was at work and usually don't pick up strange calls anyways.  Looks like a telemarketer which is annoying because this is my cell phone

I have received several calls from 877-671-1851. I never answer. Now I know where they are coming from. I too am on the do not call list. They are a nuisance.

I get calls from this number very frequently, and would like it to stop!  Apparently no one has successfully stopped the calls.

Have called three times now to my cell phone. I answered twice, but there was nobody on the line.  I see hundreds of similar reports about this number.

got a call from this number. I confronted the guy on the phone and he got rude so we got in a shouting match.  in my opinion this number is crap. he didn't verify himself outside of saying that he was from sprint and he wanted to speak with the primary person on the bill.  there was no verification of number, address, anything on his end. he said i was able to receive the $150 credit and update my phone. (Which I know for sure I am not) Called sprint a few minutes ago and they verified that I wasn't... told them about this and they said to report it on their website.

I keep getting calls from this same number quite often.  It's pissing me off and I was wondering if there was any way to make it stop.

Keeps calling and never leaves message. According to the FTC, telemarketing calls to cell phones is illegal and should be reported to them. You don't need to be on the do not call list as that's only required for land lines. If enough people complain to the FTC, they may do something about it. Or at least complain to Sprint management, if you can ever reach one!

They called trying to offer me something saying it was sprint.  However, they were awkward over the phone so I questioned them and then they just hung up.  After speaking with sprint directly this number is NOT SPRINT, I reported it to their fraud dept.

Missed a call from 877-671-1851 on 4/18/08.  No message left.  Other posts claim this is Sprint calling.  They did not leave a message so I can't verify.

I didn't answer but I think it was Sprint. I've received calls from Sprint before.

Heh, I just had a missed call from them. They hadn't called me since I replaced my Nextel phone in November, so I guess they were due to call again. Good to know this number is well-discussed. :p
