- MooseI continue to get calls from 877-671-1851 but there is no one on the other end when I pick up the call.
- EbsI just received a call from them. When asked if I was available, I said yes (not knowing who it was) and the lady hung up. Oh well, at least I know not to answer again.
- jedi master Dsprint-
they are trying to make you add features to you account
the person that called me couldn't speak ENGLISH wtf?- Caller: Sprint/Nextel
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MmeStrangeCalled. Picked-up, nobody there. My name sounds spanish and another person said the caller couldn't speak English... maybe these calls are targeting spanish speakers and that is why there are so many cases of the caller not answering, or answering awkwardly?
- pizzesJust started to get calls from this number. How can I complain about harrassment and unauthorizes use of my cell phone battery?
- SteveI got a call from this same number. If it's not in my cell phonebook, I don't answer it since there are several "toll free number scams" calling cell phones. When I read on here that it was sprint/nextell, I knew it was them, since I do have them as my cell provider. I called back and got a recording saying it WAS sprint/nextell and "if you're not interested in future promotions, press 6" so i did. Hope this helps anyone else that gets this call.
- Caller: SPRINT
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Steve replies to hate itcall that number back and press option 6 to opt out of "future promotions". I hate how sprint solicits to their own customers(though, many other companies do the same)

- PhreddThey called me on my cell phone while I was driving in the middle of a severe thunderstorm. I am a storm spotter and actually mistook the number for the National Weather Service private number. I answered assuming they were looking for a report on the storm from the ground. This guy says says he's from Sprint ansd starts telling me about my phone usage or something. I hung up and will be hard pressed to re-up with Sprint when my contract expires in a couple of months. Who needs this? They should fire the genius who came up with the idea of calling their customers' cell phones at random for that.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ValerieReceived a call on my Sprint mobile at 5:50pm EDT. Picked up phone ... no one there.
- Not from SprintThese guys have repeatedly called and "Claimed they are from Sprint"
Sprint wrote to me and said the number is not a Sprint number.- Call type: Telemarketer
- StephanieI have got this call 2 times today and it is only 9 am. I did not answer it because I did not know the number.

- edweirdospoke to a girl with an indian accent (1st turn off). knew some info about my Sprint account but didn't get the phone correctly. most of the time when i call Sprint customer service they ask for my "secret" password. she didn't. she got upset when i told her that i wasn't interested.
- Caller: "Sprint"
- gamooI keep getting calls from phone number; 877-671-1851 and when I answer there isn't anyone on the other end. I am on the no-call-list but that doesn't seem to matter.
This is getting very annoying since it happens on a daily basis. - stephI have gotten 3 calls from this number. How do I make them stop?
- RBKeeps calling my cell phone, but this time (today @ 12:08 PM) when I said hello, they waited a while, said nothing, so I put it on speaker phone and waited. After a few seconds I heard a loud buzzing noise, then they actually said hello, due to the noise (I'm assuming) they apparently couldn't hear me, then the call was disconnected.
I only have number display on the cell phone so the Caller ID text is not available. - Joy replies to Jaded| 70 repliesGlad to see this, now I won't bother to answer. Ironic because I have just ADDED a new line on my own volition, so I sure don't need another. BTW since we already are their customers, the do not call law does not apply. However, they never did this to me before, as I saw this happened to others in 2007.
- ldixonGet calls every day from this number. There is never any one there
- JajUgh.. just got one of these too on my cell.. my 2 year is expiring in a few months.. they claimed from sprint- could tell.. busy telemarketing background.. (yes, sounded Indian) offer to give you a discount on phone and a mail in rebate.. (my case- smart phone- instant discount:250, and a 100 mail in) They did say it would be charged to my bill-and that they would not ask for credit card info) When I hesitated, she offered to call back another, so I could research the phones, etc. end of call.
(meanwhile, I'm typing the ph# into Google.. and found this site.. (now- how to block ph#'s..again....)- Caller: Sprint?
