Just do this: when you get a call from that number, save it in your address book as "sprint junk" (like I do) - that way, when they call back, you'll know what it is.

I just told them the same thing. It is Sprint doing this. I called them and told them they are a pain in the........... The rep told me it will not happen again as I will sue them for harrassment. We have two phone lines and they will STOP the telemarketing for both of them. :-) Very simple issue to resolve.

Sprint should only contact you via text or email, or by phone if you have just spoken to them. I received the same call and told the operator this, she immediately hung up. It is a scam, do not give them any of your personal information.

This is the 12th call from this number in the past few weeks.  I finally answered.  Seems legit from Sprint since the person ("Michelle") gave me some details about my phone plan that wouldn't be publicly available.  

I castigated her company (Sprint) for my myriad unresolved troubles (OK, just 2 troubles but they are persistent and they can't fix them, strangely) and she rang sprint service "for me."  Of course she had to go through the same phone tree so it did no good.  The sprint representative was garbled but sounded Sprint-y and as ineffective as ever!  

In the end it wasted 16 minutes of my day for nothing. Nothing.

Keep getting phone calls from this number, have never answered nor returned backed call.

Sprint telemarketing is calling with unsolicited calls please stop

Around the first or second week in Aug. 2008, I received the first call from this number. I didn't answer.  Today, Aug.21, 'o8 at noon (the first call was at noon too), I just received another call from 877-671-1851. Are they from Sprint or not?  I do have a Sprint phone.  I too am on the no call list and will not answer but I sure would like to know who is calling.

Got the call today....missed it...glad I did....

Yeah, when I told them I was busy, I got hung up on. More than likely, it's a scam. Even Sprint's customer service wouldn't get away with too much of that behavior. Just don't answer or [***] them out and they'll hang up on you. It works.

I dialed *2 on my phone to ask Sprint directly about this phone number. You all should try the same.

The CSR said she couldn't find the number on whatever list she was using, so I told her that many Sprint customers are getting telemarketing calls from the number, and many are talking about leaving Sprint because they think it's Sprint.

Hopefully they'll look into it and put a stop to it. It would help if you all started complaining about it to Sprint, also.

Got this call again today.  Added it to my contacts as Sprint Telemarketers, so I do not pick it up.  I am going to contact sprint on this phone number @ lunch and see what happens.

always calls me on a tuesday and thursday. around same time then one day i sent a text sayin i was goin to kill them and they quit calling me

I told the guy he had the wrong number.  He repeated the number back to me (it was mine and was correct) and I informed him it was off a digit.   He tried to tell me that I was wrong, at which time I asked him if he was calling me a liar (because I was) and asked to speak to the manager.   That was fun.

Marketing/solicitation call

I just complained to Sprint about these solicitation calls from 1-877-671-1851.  They claimed it was not them and furthermore, their records show that all three of my cell phone lines are showing a request not to receive calls from Sprint.  Not sure who this really is, but there's got to be a way to stop them!
