Another hang up from Sprint

Okay, here's an idea. How about you stop worrying that it might actually be a bill collector and call the number back. You will in fact realize that when you do so, it asks you right on the main menu if you would like to be removed from theyre promotions. All it is, is asking you if youd like to purchase a new phone line. Stop being babies, and stop avoiding the call. Grow up!!

Trust me, it won't annoy them, it will make their day, and give them something to talk about on breaks.

I was a tele-marketer for about 3 weeks before my sense of ethics got in the way of the big fat commission check I was getting and I quit.

im gonna keep calling it and hitting 5 to order, they put you on with a live person you can harass.

Few calls over past month. No msg.

I received one of these calls today on my cell phone, I had them in the past, too.  If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer like I did one time and got a Sprint telemarketer.  I dicn't answer it today, I just googled the number and now I know not to answer it.  Thank you everyone!  I put the number in my name list as "Do Not Answer Sprint" so it will show up on caller ID when they call again.  They had called my house and left a message that they were Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield and had important information for me to call back.  When I called the number, guess what....it was Sprint calling! I couldn't believe it was Sprint.  They didn't recognize my home phone number as being their number. Call was ended.  This only happened once so far.

I just got that too.  I answered and nothing.  Then they hung up.  So I called back and got the prerecorded message about adding a line and chose the not interested option.  Why does Sprint love hassling their customers so much?

I told the chick on the phone i wanted to meet up for a quickie. She accepted but never showed. lol!

Everyday at lunch time.  I answer and no one answers back.

As previously posted, call the number back.  An automated response states that it is Sprint calling with a promotion for existing customers to add a new line.  Listen to the "press..." options.  You can opt out of future promotions by pressing 6.

The exact same thing happened to me. They were in the middle of talking and the call was dropped. Ha Ha

Tired of getting a call from this (877-671-1851) every single day for the last 3 weeks

I just got a call from this number too.  No one seemed to be on the other end of the line.  I  hung up on them.

Just got called; no voice on the other side.

I have gotten a lot of these calls.  the thing that pisses me of the most is it is ONLY A CALLBACK NUMBER.  noone talks when you answer.  It doesn't get much worse than that.

I answered 6 to a few of them and then started to answer 5 to deal with the people.  I get on there and tell them NO I will not give you my information.  I need you to transfer me to someone who can REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM THIS LIST.  

The first call to them today - They sent me to the do-not-call registry.....which is bogus because they are contacting me as a CUSTOMER TO SELL ME MORE SERVICE...therefore making the do-not-call list invalid.

The second call they transferred me to Customer service...Neil at Sprint also wanted all of my details and my pin code.  I told him my number and to remove me from the list.  I refused to provide any more detail to them.  I also made it very clear to all the people that I spoke to that if this does not stop NOW, I will cancel my service.

I am beyond my contract term and would suffer no harm to port my number elsewhere.
