Usually receive 1 or 2 calls per week.  I'll have to check my cell phone bill -- they are NOT debt collectors.

How can I stop these calls. The happen several times a day. I don't answer and they leave no message. And when I did answer there is no one there. What the hell is the purpose.....

I don't owe a penny to anyone and have no collections so this is not a debt collector calling. Because of curiosity, I've actually answered and, after a delayed few moments, a woman came on the line and called me by name and asked how I was doing. I said fine and the next thing I know my call was disconnected. She never called back. Very interesting. rofl

I called this number back after it rang and hung up without leaving a message other than their number on my callerID.  They have a recording that explains that they are a fundraising number, and that fundraisers and nonprofits are exempt from the Do-Not-Call lists, which only apply to commercial callers.  The recording allowed me to enter my phone number with a request to either be put on a specific fundraiser's do-not-call list or their company-wide (i.e. for all their fundraisers) do-not-call list.  I find that more 800/877 callers now have this kind of option available if you take a moment to call them back and wait past the dead space on the recording to find out how to be removed from their lists.  If they don't, then I just add the callerID number to the list of numbers I have my phone company block.  This is a pretty successful strategy; I don't get nearly the number of junk calls that I used to.

call from 866-696-8597 as well, same thing - mds communicatinos.after picking up and immediately hitting mute button and call disconnected.  called them back and entered 1 to leave a voicemail to never call me again. i was even toned in voice so hopefully they will remove me.

I worked for these people, awful job, and I know the phone numbers and aliases they use. Richard J BOUDREAU is a Massachusetts only based attorney who uses another low life attorney in New Hampshire. Neither one of these maggot attorneys can practice law outside of the states they're licensed to practice law in.... MA & NH.

cal back the number they say they are a . org  fund raising company  - to have your name delted from there list contact the do not call registry -

they have been calling me every day and i am on the do not call list -
they call i pick up the phone i hear two beeps and it hangs up

they say they are mds communications

Sounds like all calls that keep calling are probably "harrassment calls!!"

I received a call from this number this morning, and it appears that they are now a transportation company.  It seems it was just a wrong number, but I figured I would update this thread.
