This call must be a scam because says it's from Citibank but when I checked my account from the real website my account was fine.  The call doesn't say what they're calling about anyway.

this number comes from citibank, if you receive from this number better call citibank directly. Perhaps someone is trying to use your credit card number.

I received a call robocall requesting me to call back to 877 689 8870 regarding my Citi credit card.  I called the customer service number on the back of my Costco Citi Visa card and they said that they had not made the call that I received and not to respond to it.

I received 2 calls from this number today. The robo-voice indicated what others have already said... I did not respond to the call by pressing numbers on my phone. Instead I called the bank. There actually was a problem with my account, however the bank stated 877-689-8870 is -not- a phone number associated with my credit card bank. Beware!

I receive these calls 4x a day on my landline! The recording says the same thing BUT at beginning of each, it says the call is for Heather Barker. That's not my name and have never heard of a Heather Barker or even have a Citi card! They did this last year for awhile too. Sick and tired of them filling up my answering machine. Grrrrr

You're right Sylvia - receiving several calls a day from that # also....fixin to in include it in iphone do not answerer list.

Caller id was +18776898870.  That in itself is suspicious.  Call back and recording identifies it as Costco card etc.  Pegged as a robocaller by the free call blocker.  THis number is NOT currently registered to any US phone company.  Morons called on a Sunday monring.  Heathens.

robocall claiming to be about my citibank costco card. called citi and they said noone had called, definate scam

Getting the same call several times a day and they give my name and claim from Citibank not a sales call.  I do not respond.  Sounds like others have followed up and it is just a marketing scam from someone.

Received phone call today. Verified with LifeLock that it was not a CitiBank phone number. BTW, I don’t have a CitiBank credit card.

That number is a fraud . . . Do not respond to it.  Checked with Citibank (the issuer of the Costco credit cards) and they confirmed it was not them.

Yes it is..a scam..accents all Indian. Costco credit/cut bank doesn't make calls, I talked to them.

It may have been a robocall but, there's one thing that we should notice. Whoever it is, knows we all have a Citi card. I personally don't see this as a coincidence.
