Not necessarily.  I used to get calls about a problem with my Apple computer.  At that time, I had a Dell computer, not an Apple

Scam about a Citi credit card with Costco.  Phishing for info. If you actually do have a credit card with Citi Costco, don't talk to these people calling you to scam you. Call the number on the back of your card only.

Same call, however didn't respond to their instructions......as I suspected fraud/scam.  But when I called customer service number on my card re my account and pressed a number on keypad to check I got someone who said I had a past due on my account for May.  May bill hasn't arrived yet
billing cycle ended May 23 today is May 26!  Live person said I owed past due amount and needed payment today.  Hung up.  Seems scammers have even got into Citi's numbers and hacked them so get us to believe it's the real deal.  BEWARE!

More than likely you input a wrong number and got a scammer number instead. They buy numbers just a single digit off from the ones on the back of the cards, waiting for people like you to press one wrong number and get them instead.
