Claimed to be Citibank. Said I had a late payment. I asked them to hold while I checked my account. I said I don't see a late payment due. Then she said "This is insurance to cover your late payment." I said you are trying to scam me. I am hanging up.

CID shows Toll Free Call. If they don't identify themselves, it goes to voice mail. We don't do business with Citibank, but I did have a Best Buy credit card several years ago. Paid it off and told them to close the account. I don't owe them anything.

877-836-5643 unknown name' was caller id.  Left no message which is always typical here for spam callers.

You know it’s a scam when the dolts on the other end can’t even spoof a number correctly and the CID comes across as “Invalid Number”.  That... and I have NEVER done business w/ Best Buy/CitiBank EVER.  It might have been a legit number at one time... but even White Pages (who are normally a bit slow to identify scams) lists it as a scam as of 10/2019.  Don’t fall for it.

Yes, but it's better to not answer numbers you don't know and call the numbers for your banking institutions to be sure that they are really calling y0ou and not someone from a spoofed number. Have a good and blessed day.

Called 1:00 pm today no message.

No caller ID name, always a red flag. Robocaller with credit card debt forgiveness scam. No business name given.

This number called me at 7:23 am and did not leave a message. I called the number back an hour later when I got up and a message said “this number is no longer in service” - This toll free number is a scam!

It was the usual robocall declaring that this was the "final notice from card member services to lower the interest rate on my credit cards"

Attention Attention Attention. Yes theses are scum ball fraud scammers.

Called for the first time today.  For all of you that say it's legit, I don't owe anyone any money so I don't know why I would get a call.
