You need to close your credit card account with which ever card that you gave them. I will taking ICM to small claims court which only costs $50.00 to procees and sue them for the money owed and then some. And of course on the day of the court appearence no one from ICM will show and I WILL WIN!!! my judgement.

    Good Luck
I agreed to a 2.97 charge for info and was charged the 139.95. I was told the 2.97 included a free trial period for a website business. I did not know I wanted the business just the info. I had to hunt he phone number, when they charged my card the cut the phone number off with a partial address. My credit card company did not have the number either. When I finally got a hold of their customer service the gave a partial refund as I was 1 day behind in cancelling within the 3 day trial period I never knew had along with a software and processing fee I was unaware of purchasing in the 2.97 fee.

I have to agree that the BBB will not be of help - they need funds like ay other private business.

My opinion - ICM websites - A Huge Scam

    Mr. Gilbert C
The offer from this company’s website was for information on how to make an income at home. I authorized them to only take $2.97 out for postage as the site requested. This charge would be for the information pack to be sent to my house.  I just wanted the information on the company to look it over as they stated on the site, not the business offer at first. I never received anything via the US Mail, and they took out $139.95 after 3 days! Legally, they are in breach of contract! My packet was never delivered! I never had the time to check this company out and try the product! This is fraudulent and illegal.

Filing this complant with the The Federal Trade Commission, the following is the auto response I received from the FTC; https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

Wake up. Those positive comments are made up too, read the print at bottom of page which states everything is a twist off the truth, nothing valid, only example of maybe what could be, etc. their disclaimer says basicly, everything a lie.

They charge you the 139.95 right after you order the information packet for 2.95. They do not wait three days. The separate the charges into two payments that equal 139.95 so that when you call your bank and tell them to stop the payment for 139.95, it goes through as two separate payments and of course the other charge of 2.95 that you did agree to for the info in the mail, which you never get. They right away send you to another link to start your business, but you have to agree to 39.95 and 25 cents per 100.00 that goes through your account so your site can use credit cards. there is no option to cancel and even though you do not agree to this extra charge, they charge you the 139.95 which isn't even mentioned on the page only in an e-mail which when you cancel it within minutes on the link in the e-mail it states that a confirmation of your cancellation will be sent to you within 24 hours, which you don't get. The three day trial is a joke, just like the whole website.I only tried to get the information to read because they copied a legitamate article from our local are newspaper, only they changed the links to theirs, not the legitamate one that the single mom used in our area. But then it does say at the end of the page that they distorted the truth and are not affiliated with the other reputable companies that they list. Their isn't even an author for the article mentioned when you look closer at it.If you try any of their top of the page icons on their home page, it isn't even a local news company all of the icons go to their order screen, and so do their sucess stories. The weather isn't even near correct on their made up web page. It did sound to good to be true and it is. Think about it, if there was that much money to be made off posting links, then they would be hiring people on an hourly scale to post links on different computors all day long and keep the profits. Think about this too, who is liable when orders are returned that are ordered on your site them or you, if you even get a site in the end.? Who goes to court if the customer gets riped off on your site? Once I got past the initial order form for the info and started reading how to set up the site and the extra money they wanted so that you could accept credit cards, I knew it didn't make sense, but then it is too late, they have you credit card and they can charge what they want without your permission. This is what I did... GO TO BANK AND CANCEL YOUR CARD AND LEAVE THE VALID CHARGES TO BE PAID THAT ARE PENDING. FILE A REJECTION FORM FOR THE CHARGES FROM THE ICM COMPANY OR WHATEVER THEY ARE CALLING THEMSELVES> THEN THE BANK CAN ONCE THE CHARGES GO THROUGH THAT ARE PENDING FROM THEM< REVERSE CHARGES BACK INTO YOUR ACCOUNT> MOST BANKS OFFER THIS PROTECTION!!!Don't let them have your hard earned money. Not even the 2.95, they didn't give you anything for it.You have rights with your card, inforce them. it is the same as your card getting stolen, they stoled your numbers with their scam. The bank offers you protection, claim it asap. If you have no help from your bank, change banks, I have never heard of a bank not having this protection for their card owners. Check with others higher up at the bank, if at first you get someone not up on credit card protection. I called the number on the back of my credit card first, they will walk you through it. Good Luck. The bank reports scams also, it is hard to track overseas companies on the internet, so it makes it hard to prosecute them. Hopefully, they will get prosecuted some day by the FBI or some other international agency. They have alot to answer for and pay for. I don't know how they sleep at night.

C'mon currently it is advertised as channel 7. The websites aren't even a news wensite. It is a one page add to link you only to the next step of the sale. Try the ions, they go one place, to order their scam. Read the end of the page, it states that it is all distorted information. You and others writning positive reviews are so obviously working for IBM. The rest of us make more sense.Don't fall for this scam!!!! You don't get anything for the 2.95 or whatever they first charge for the info, then they have your credit card and they take alot more of your money without your permission instantly..there is no three day free trial.

Contact the number on back of your charge card or your bank. You have protection. It is the same as stealing your card, they stoled you card info. The bank can and will get it back and report them.

Sham on you. This article is taken from our local paper and distorted and the links that were valid have been changed to your scamming links. Buyer beware. No author is listed as in the valid La Crosse Tribune article. At the end of the page they say they are distorting the truth and are not affiliated with the valid companies listed. I am going to report this fraud to the Tribune and I hope with their attorney's for slandering their article and their reputation that they take you for all you IBM company has scammed out of hard working people. I am sure that the single mom who's reputation you are slandering will want to be a part of the lawsuit!!!

Not good enough. Contact your bank either directly or the number on back of your credot card. You have protection against theft. This is theft. The bank can take back your money, but you have to request it and fill out the necessary forms. If they don't give the bank money back they have penalties they don't want to pay and bank attormey's that they don't want to face.

They will try again most likely or try a different amount. Cancel your card and get anew one and sleep better at night. the bank will help you to make sure after the cancelation that the valid charges are still paid. just ask them for their help at all ends. they will gladly help you.

Ya right. You are distorting the truth. Go ahead and listen to this jerk, the ICM company will gladly take your money. Or if you have 139.95 to throw away on an advertisement page that staes at the bottom that they distort the truth and aren't liable for any misinterpetations, sounds like a trustworthy company, huh???It advertises one cost, then charges you more once they get your credit card information whether you want more information or services or not. They got you.If they get you, contact your bank immediately. Check your e-mails and you statements online for instant extra charges, they will be there. The bank can help you get them back because this is card theft anyway you look at it.look at the links posted in these reviews as supposedly valid supporters of these sites, do you see anywhere that has a 139.95 charge listed upfront???Didn't think so.

They charged me for the $2.95 to try it but also charged me membership of $139.95 same day.  I called and cancelled with an Anthony and got a confirmation number from him.  I also alerted my bank on the information as well and my next step is the Better Business Bureau.  The whole time they tell you that you will not be charged nothing except to try for $2.95.
