I found two addresses (I am doing the same):

    210 S. Kenwood St.
    Suite 200
    Glendale, CA 91205

    and 9663 Santa Monica Blvd.
    Suite 449
    Beverly Hills, CA 90210

I contacted my local sheriff's office and asked if this "processor" worked for Eaton County...they do not and they do not have ANY papers that are set to be "served" to me.  They recommended not sending any money or setting anything up with them (which I didn't of course) and continue what I am doing and request the validation letter from them.

If all of us would do this, they would be out of business.  Learn your rights.  Read the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act and use it when these A**holes call.  They get annoyed fast and usually stop calling when you know what you are talking about and know your rights.

    Hope this helps!

Was contacted by a Deacon Meyers whom was very rude and you could tell laying on the intimidation tactic very thick. He did not even have my right name and told me that he would give me another chance and that I needed to call 1-888-249-0681 and give my claim number. I dont think Im going to call by the looks of the other posts above abnd I definetly am not going to give any credit card info. Any other feedback on what else to do would be greatly appreciated. They are actually calling my daughters phone with the harrasing Vm's.

Okay after receiving 6 or 7 "this is your final notice" I didn't hear from them for over a week.  Now a different lady posing as a processor (I checked with my county, there is noone by that name working there and if they(the server) are not living in the state you reside in, they can't even serve you)  is calling and stating this is my final notice(I have received about 7 "final notices") to contact the mediation firm (which I already contacted but wouldn't give them anything because they can't prove anything I owe because I don't owe it!).  If they were legitimate, I would have already been served.  I would love to see them in court because they are in so many violations of the FDCPA that I could counter sue them...misrepresenting themselves as a Mediator and not disclosing they are a debt collector, threatening to serve me and take me to court when they have no intentions to and not following up with a letter after the initial contact (which they must do by law within 5 days of the initial contact).  I am sure there a plenty more I could sue them for.  I am keeping track of the calls and such so when I have all the information needed, I will sue them.  I would love to see their faces when they get served!

Good for you, if more of us would do that and not let them use illegal tactics the bad collectors would go out of business.  If I do owe this debt, then just send me the proof as required by law and I'll pay it.  Other wise I am not falling for a scam.  Legitimate collectors know the law and follow it and I will only work with those collectors.  Good for you for standing up for your rights!

If you found a valid USPS address, why wasn't your second mailing a summons?

Because I am working with my attorney to get everything in order.  You can't take someone to court until you have all your paperwork in order.  I have to wait for the return receipt to come back from them and give them the time that the law allows them to respond to my requests, then my lawyer will send them their summons.  Unlike this company, I do things the way the law is set up.

Really now, you can sue anyone with an undercooked, sloppy complaint cut from a template. The debt buyers and collections lawyers do this every week. Our legal system is full of people who think the corporation is always right. Sadly you're correct. A determined opposition will gladly find the slightest errors and gaps in your case and drive in wedges. I agree there is no hurry, apart from the one year SoL on FDCPA claims, so you may as well get it right the first time and come out with your guns loaded.

resident d-bag, you obvioulsy work for these scam artists and need to be sued personally.  Your company called and made a big mistake today leaving personal information, and making threats on my familys voicemail.  Your company will be served with papers from my attorney letting you know I have filed suit against not only the company, but your bogus collectors.  In your company's own words: Have fun in court!

The only *obvious* issue is your lack of reading comprehension. Why on earth would a lawbreaking collection agency rep support someone with legal claims against his own employer? If I drew paychecks from this outfit, would I not be more likely to hurl illiterate insults at JB and try to defeat any discussion of consumer rights?

I got a call from Christy saying I owed a payday loan and that I was going to be served If they didn't get a payment. I set it up on Monday for it to be taken out the followimg monday, on Friday I called all day but couldn't reach anybody which I felt was odd. I googled their firm and got all the scam reports. I canceled my card and put my bank on alert. Christy called monday morning and when I asked her for information such as an address or fax number she refused to give it to me. She also started stiffening when I asked why I couldn't get in contact with anybody. has anybody been "located" after they refused to pay? also the number she told me to call back was 877-313-4707

I too have recieved a call Friday from World Wide. McKenna Williams called my mother & uncle asking how to get in contact with me. I got the number from my uncle & a guy by the name of Jesse answered the phone saying I owed some loan that I already had settled. The number is similar to the one's above. 18773142328. Jesse gave me an ext number where he could be reached also. Ext 320. There's also a woman by the name of Larissa that's involved as well. Her ext number is 331. Like everyone else they had my info as well. I asked Jesse & Larissa for the number of the group loan & they said they couldn't give it out. I asked where their office is based & he told me California. I tried to stay on the phone with Jesse as long as I could asking him simple questions & he hurriedly got me off the phone cause he said he's a busy man. I also called my sheriffs dept & they never heard of World Wide mediation. Like everyone else's messages I've read I too believe this company or whatever you want to call them is a scam. If anyone gets a call from either of these numbers, call your local sheriffs dept & ask if they heard of World Wide Mediation. We have got to put a stop to this!!

My finacee got two calles today by a "World Wide Mediation" and the ladies name was Autumn. But they called my sister and his father about it and we tired to call it back and it just rang and nobody would pick up. but the number that they gave us was 1-877-314-2328. They gave us a case number. We are trying to figure out how they would have got my sister's number and name.  And how they would have got his parents phone number and how they would have put together then him and my sister was affiliated. So I hope someone can please help us with this.

    Thank you,

    Jess

I did have a pay day loan - stupid, i know- and like many others got calls made to my parents and sister trying to get my address. Wanted to serve me papers to appear in court for a fraud check name was Ross Chambers Gave me  866-949-5890 world group mediation firm. They said it was from a pay day loan back in 2009, and making arrangements would knock off 200 for the finder fee. Gave them a prepaid card number... Shouldn't they send paperwork?

Received two calls in a row on my voicemail at work claiming that they are ready to serve me with papers.  All he said was that his name was Christopher Lockhart and needed to talk to me ASAP in order for me to fix this issue in order for me not to be sued.  However, the funny thing about it is that he left two different phone numbers with each voicemail.  One was 855-215-7116 x118 and then next was 877-418-8781.  I looked up the first one and it is listed to a telemarketer.  Does this number sound familiar to anyone out there?

My mom and sister both got calls from 866-315-5857 and 866-396-4238 with someone leaving a claim number and asking for my address so they could serve papers. I do owe a pay day loan debt, but they had my address info. Don't know how they got family members info since they weren't listed as references on the loan. They called from a local cell phone number, which is what flagged me to begin with. Not giving these people any money! If I had it, I would've paid off the loan!
