My mom and sister both got calls from 866-315-5857 and 866-396-4238 with someone leaving a claim number and asking for my address so they could serve papers. These numbers came up as a web hosting company and a truck driving school, so I'm assuming they change their numbers frequently. I do owe a pay day loan debt, but they had my address info. Don't know how they got family members info since they weren't listed as references on the loan. They called from a local cell phone number, which is what flagged me to begin with. Not giving these people any money! If I had it, I would've paid off the loan!

these people have been harrassing me for at least 5 years. they say they have charges filed against me that i was going to jail. one time i did call the woman called me a [***] when i asked for proof to be mailed to me. she told me i was a drunk and used a lot of nasty language. do not contact these people. the debt they say i owe is a payday loan from 2007.

I have a different number from Katie Brooks if that is her real name calling from 18773436421 very rude.

On 3-12-13 I received a call from 877-308-4487 and someone with an Indian accent ( presented himself with an english name - Harry Jones) stating that he represented a company called US Cash Net and that he was calling me to inform me that i have a pending law suit against me for a debt that I owed to this US Cash Net company and that I needed to arrange a settlement or have my attorney to contact them in order to discuss this matter.    

In so much as I've never heard of this company nor have I taken out a loan of any type with anyone over the past three years I simply dismissed the caller as a collection scam and asked that he never call me  again .

FYI: Prior to this issue I  did submit an online loan application request about two weeks prior to getting subject harrassing phone call , but , at that time , I elected not to move-forward with the offer because it was what they called a Pay Day Loan and it came with a very high interest rate. This was certainly not an option that would have worked for me.  Unfortunately, I made the big mistake of giving out my personal information including  bank account information ( secondary account)

i suspect that I will continue to get these calls and I opted to submit an online (scam) complaint claim with the Internet Crime Complaint Center. As a precaution I also I intend to follow-up with the three major credit reporting agencies and contact my bank to make them aware of this issue/concern

yes I just had that happen to me they told me they were going to come to my job and my house and arrest me I told him I never received the loan from them not even in my bank account so I said no I'll go there today they told me go there today and turn myself in I call the FBI ID told me you were scale

I just got a call today from this Vickie Long with the same message just a different. Im assuming its from a check n go loan. The number she left me is 877-614-7552. No traces yet of this number online. I asked her what was this about and all this idiot would say was we need you(me) to verify my home address and work address. Even called a uncle of mine and I know I put down a fake number! They lied to me about how the refinancing goes and as far as Im concerned, they got their money from what I paid thinking I was paying it off just under 200.00 a month.

I just had the same thing happen and I am stupid because I fell for it twice. They contacted me at work the first time divulging information to my boss. I called back and paid them, the debt was supposedly a little over $400. and when I agreed to pay they 'knocked off the $200 finders fee. the guy who called my boss was a jerk but when I called back he was all kinds of helpful. well, 2 weeks later I get another call, detailed message on my work vm advising me 'I've been warned' advising me they were a locator service and they had papers to serve me, when I called back and advised who I was and the 'case number' I was calling about the woman responded "AND?!?!" I told her I was trying to find out what this about and immediately she started attacking me taunting me accusing me of breathing heavy into the phone. She then rattled off the name of an online payday loan co I allegedly borrowed money from and did not pay back. I have had numerous payday loans but did not recognize the name of the co. I tried to obtain more info about the loan and she evaded and refused accusing me of fraud and asking if I had intended to commit fraud. I had actually called prepared to make good on the alleged debt but she was too busy inflicting stress and fear on me to hear it, finally I said- I called you -to take care of it so why are you being so rude- she said- oh- you want to take care of it- mockingly- told me it was $1,080.--I told her I couldn't do that in a lump sum she would need to divide it in 3-- then as if to be decent she said she would 'knock off the locator fee of $200.'  I am mad at myself- I have researched the phone # 877 798 5153 and there is no address or name associated with it.

Thank you. this is very helpful. I feel so stupid for falling for it twice before realizing I was being scammed. I believe I have been hit twice by the same ring of scam artists, there tactics were exactly the same and since I fell for it the first time they did it again. The first one drafted my account under the name BOCLLC from Hamburger NY. The second was from Nationwide in Chandler AZ. I have filed a dispute with my bank. Prayerfully it is not to late to re-coup my funds. I am filing a complaint, thank you so much for the info. I may have debts to pay but I intend to pay them to the correct source. This is sick. A person has to be really struggling in the first place to take out a payday loan. Payday loan companies pray on desperate people and then some J@**@$$ comes along and prays on them again!!??!? Next time I have problems I will sit in the dark, walk to work or starve before I ever take out one of these stupid things.

So I get a call from this place called national he claims to be Willie Nelson 855 264 3434 he sounds legit but after Googling them I can't find a address listed so is this a scam

Got a call today from Vicki Long this time she says she represents "The Union Group" but it sounds the same.We neeed a locator to get the claimand "allegations" to you so you can  be aware of the "charges"  Number this time is 8773127821

NC Attorney General told me to find out their address,license number and written proof of debt and of course they have non. Apparently like someone said earlier Vicki Long is the "locator" or bad cop and whoever you get at the number they give you is the "good cop". Has a "locator" ever actually shown up?

No, they will never show up.  This is a scam.  There is no such thing as a locator.  The FBI issued a press release in 2011 on these scam artists. Remember "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."  These are evil people who are plain and simple, criminals.  Keep reporting them to the FTC, local law enforcement and the FBI.  All information is traceable and these scam artists can move their little magic jacks and VOIP phones around all they want - eventually, they will get caught.  They really went over the line misrepresenting the IRS to scam people out of money and that my friend, will be their undoing.  You do not mess with the IRS.

Someone just called from BLOCKED saying that I owe a payday loan since 2009 and said CALL THIS NO# 8888102650 and they said charges are being filed for me to go to jail for bank fraud and they gave me a hour to put a card no# on file so after reading all these  I won't be putting a card on file until..I know Info  But I call NATIONAL back and ask them do they have a website and they said NO... What ???

there at it again.. this time there going by Statewide Mediation Group.. and calling with restricted numbers and leaving numbers to call 855-213-3137.. lady named Lisa Monroe. They called my mother, my brother in law and my sister in law, before they even called me.. Weird?? They did finally call me after they have already talked to the people I mentioned above! Sounds like they are changing there names, and phone numbers.. but there threatening the same things.. court orders to be served and all this crazy stuff.. when I talked to the lady she said I need an address to serve you, I said im not giving you my address and whats this for..? She said since I didn't want to cooperate that she will just serve me.. and hung up.. I was left questioning she was just asking for my address to serve me and now she hung up on me, with no address but yet she's going to serve me? COME ON you fu**ing scammers.. quit this [***], its not cute, its not funny! Go get a real job and make money and stop trying to collect ours!

I have dealt with this lady Lisa Monroe before but with a different named Company.. but doing the same crap.. I contacted my attorney, he said any collections people that call have to proof the debt is yours before they can just take you to court and any collections people that call and threaten you are scammers..
