these are all scams! they cannot touch you or hurt you in any way. they are just SCUMBAGS trying to get money out of hard working folks like us. dont give them any info and nothing. report them to the FBI and your local authorities.

Just received a call from a William Sun from legal services stating I needed to call them back immediately regarding a case of check fraud and if I didn't they would serve me papers. Its a scam folks.  I'm filing a complaint with the FTC now and have no intention of calling them back.

Just as LGS reports above...  I got the same EXACT thing.

"I received a call today with BLOCKED number and left a message with contact number 877-877-0326 and name is David Bridge working at County Legal Services. He left a voicemail and threatening me that I have a wrote a fraudulent check and if I will not call them they will serve and come to my home or work duty and talk to my superior.   I never received any letter from the mail that I think will inform me via mail."

If they were going to serve you with papers, they would just do it.  They wouldn't call threatening.

Received 2 calls back to back today.  Someone by the name of David Bridge said that they were trying to serve me papers.  I called the number back and the guy told me that he needed to get the file from the attorney.  Came back and informed me that they had subpoena my email accoutn from 2009 and my bank account.  Also told me that they called my boss and informed him that they were trying to serve me court papers.  Is that legal??  They told me that they were giving me 60 mins as I was at lunch.  We will see if they even show up!!

Just received a phone call from 877-877-0326. They left a message and it was Patrick Murphy. When I called back someone answered and wouldn't give name. He told me the name of office was wyman and foster legal services w/state. He read off my social and stated whom I owed and how much. I advised I will call them directly said thank you and hung up. The guy called me back and told me not call the number again and hang up in his face. I'm like this guy is taking this seriously. So I called back and spoke to someone else and he had an attitude and said the same thing. I told him not to leave me threatening messages, I laughed said thank you and hung up. They are nothing but a small collection agency and if they had merit we would be served. If so, I'll post another nite to advise but I doubt it. They are not a legal office acting like that. They sound like kids. Whatever!!

I too have received many threatening phone calls from this number and I believe its harassment.  They should be reported to the Fed Trade Commission because I think its against the law!! No way would I ever call back just to hear the attitude again...its a joke and I would be embarassed to work at such a place!!

I got a message from "David West"  with the same garbage about a check fruad case and coming to the workplace to serve papers and so on. They must be crazy.

I just got a call from Patrick Weiman 877-877-0326 asking to speak to someone in my payroll department, I told him I would take his call and pass the information on. This man scammed once and now he is after me again! Can my employer to anything if they say they have garnishment?

My fiance got a message the day before yesterday claiming he was involved in a check fraud scam and they were going to serve him and the other parties. They then named me as the other party. What a joke. He doesn't even have a checking account and we have never had our names on anything together.

A Mr. Powers from Minnesota Legal Services called regarding a case against me.  Stated they were going to serve me legal papers.

Its a scam - no processor is going to call you and announce they are serving papers.

Man calling my mother about a check fraud in my name.  Telling my mother he will get access to her work and go there in order to collect on this check fraud.

I got the same call today saying we are demanding you call us back or we will serve papers at your workplace, etc very threatening. I called the number and low and behold they tried to say an address I have not lived at for several years now.....hmmmm....good to know they are scamming to get money....don't answer their calls folks... and they guy said his name was David Briggs..funny how the last name keeps changing here.

I got a call to a phone number that didn't exist in 2008 where the guy left a number for me to call 877-877-0326 Case#LLT31326 for a bad check from a payday loan that Steve Burello said I did online in 2008 worth $300 with Wachovia. This was a very fast talking man Steve Burello telling me if I settle out of Court I wouldn't have to pay as much as if I would be paying in Court. He also said in the State of Alabama Company could take you to Civil Court to get there money & I would be sevred to come to court @ my home in 30 min. Steve Burello was trying to ask all kinds of unprofessional questions. I'm report this to the FBI this is some BS to try to get money from someone who does not have any money.

This number called me yesterday and left the same number 877-877-0326 with a case number but the home phone I have is not even in my name nor have I even given it out so how he got it I don't know. But when I called the number back this morning he answered with an attitude and said I had an account with Wells Fargo I have never had an account with this financial institution because they would never give me one. Then he repeated my SSN and ask if that was my SSN and said that I should have been glad that I called back to stay out of court, I told him I nevered had an account with Wells Fargo back in 2008 and here it is 2012 are you serious dude, he say I don't want to talk to you anymore because you have a bad attittude I will just see you in court, so I said I guess so because I'm not paying nothing especially for something I know I didn't do. These people whoever they are needs to be stopped.

This number called 877-877-0326 with a case number claiming a loan company is sueing me for past due payments but i never applied for any kind of loans. They had my social security number they claim to be a lawyer w.f. foster law firm representing cash centeral. They had attitudes when i called back and said they will see me in court. BEWARE DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER. this guy went by the name of Mr. Gibson. I am disabled and this sucks.

I'm so glad I searched the number and company he said he was from. They called my cell and left a message stating that I was involved in a check fraud related to my social and needed to call immediately. I called them back and he said I had a pay day loan back in 2009 for $300.00 and 2 of the payments were returned. I know that isn't true because I worked at where I bank and every time something was returned on your account, you got wrote up...and I didn't. He said I needed to call back in 45 minutes or less and make a payment of 211.15 or they would serve me papers. First of all, I've moved to another state since then, so how are you going to find me. It just sounds really fishy and I'm glad I Google every thing!!! My mom really wants me to report them too.

I recvd a call on my wrok phone today from a unkown number from David West. He verify my ss# and my address which is a P.O.Box stating he has legal paper to serve me because I was in volve with check fraud and I need to call wyman and foster @ 877-877-0326 to settle this matter and if I don't he will be serving me legal paper for court. First of all this David person was talking really fast and when I ask him to repeat him self he got an attitude. I am in process of filing bankruptcy and I call my lawyer who stated it a collection agency and don't talk to them say away.

Got a call from them at 10:46 this morning.  Home number came in under a private and the second had like 20 numbers.  Said they were from County Legal Services. I looked them up on the MN Dept of Commerce and there is no such collection agency listed.  Same message, going to come and serve me papers to may and all parties concerned. It was David West.  I didn't call them back or answer.

Everday they call me, but thanks to google I do not reply them. How can I get rid of them?
