Got a call on my cell from these scam artist tonight saying  my Master Card account might be frozen or placed on hold.  I too, have no BarClays account.  Butt wipes ...

 Fool  try calling me and I called my credit union and they said it is a scam

I received a call 18 minutes ago from the "Fraud Dept." claiming that my Barclays MasterCard may be put on a temporary hold if I didn't call back.  Reported it to Barclays'.

Got a call from 8779885553 saying I had fraud on my Barclays world mastercard.  Guess what?  I do not have such a card. Can you have fraud on a card you do not have?  I guess it is possible.

Yeah, very clever. Sounded just like MasterCard. And they had sent me an email about fraud as well today so I stupidly fell for it. Do not call back. Just phoned the number on the back of the card and told them to cancel my card and send me a new one. Don't answer phone calls when you're tired....groan.

just had a phone call from this number as I do have a Barclay card. It is a scam - spoke with Barclay card

I received a call from this number asking for the number of my MC card (witch I don't have) it does worries me is that they called my cell number (I am very selective to whom I give it) I hung up, very clear is a scam!

Got a call 3 minutes ago. These folks are on a roll. I have Barclays Visa card not MC. Total Scam. Called back and their automated systems tells you that they will need your card info. DONT CALL BACK. Call the number on the back of your credit card if you are concerned.

Got a voicemail from this number saying fraudulent activity noted on my Barclay Mastercard.  My account is now on hold and to please call back.  Even gave a number to call if calling from outside of the US.  I don't have a Barclay Mastercard and I'm so glad this site is available.  Don't call it back because it is clearly a scam.  Thanks team!

Just got this call.  Said fraud on my card.  Not calling them back.  Not sure how they even got my cell phone number as I only have listed our home phone.

Same as all the other posts. Temp hold on my Barclay's Mastercard. Call and verify account #. Don't have a Barclay's card. Complete scam

Just like everyone else I got this call about one hour ago about a Barley MC card which I don't have.

Same as others... Caller left a msg saying Barclay MC, which I do not have, has been placed on hold. Wanted me to call back or visit a website

Same thing here. This is a scam where they try to get personal information from you for identity theft purposes.

Just got the same calla 15 minutes ago, about that my MasterCard (that I don't own) has fraudulent activity and has been put on hold. I went to google it first before calling anywhere, and found this great site. It's a scam, don't call!!!!

Got the same call as all of you. I did one better though. I called the fraud department for my bank and gave them the info. She said that they will file a complaint on my behalf with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) for attempted ID theft.

Received voice mail from this number at 8:46 pm MST about world master card being put on hold.  Immediately googled the number and found this site.  Thanks!

This number called my cell phone stating there was a " hold" on my card. Called number and they wanted my 16 digit card number. Do not give them any information.

Didn't answer as I didn't recognize. They left a message and a computer generated voice claimed same as everyone else. Barclay's MC. Don't even have this card.
