AT&T survey asking about a recent transaction I made with them. Press 1 to do the survey or simply hang up if you don’t want to participate. This is not a scam or anything new. We always get survey calls after doing any transactions with them.

This number was AT&T calling on their auto robo dialing system, about doing a survey. They recently did work on my phone. I tried to recall to do their survey. It cut me off before I could talk to someone about it. I won't answer again since it is all automation now. If they want me to do a survey, let me talk to a REAL person.

I got a call from 888-211-7690 on December 15, 2018 at 8:59 am.  I did not answer and the caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on.  My caller ID said, "Toll Free Call."  Why would a legitimate caller hide their name?  I called AT&T yesterday about problems with my phone service so it could have been AT&T calling me back, but I guess I'll never know for sure.  This is silly, especially from a firm in the communication business.  Anyone see any irony in this?

I got another call from 888-211-7690 on January 28, 2019 at 9:00 am.  Same as the previous call.  The caller did not leave a message and my caller ID said, "Toll Free Call."  If you want people to answer their phone just use your company name instead of 'Toll Free Call' as an ID.  How hard is that to figure out?

They said it was AT&T & then asked for my name. I said it was on my bill. They transferred the call and then referred me by someone else's name!  They don't even know who they are calling?? I think it's a scam

I see from all these reports that this number is supposed to be an AT&T survey.  I never answer phone calls with no legitimate caller ID that identifies them.  And also it would be helpful to leave a message so the customer can call back. My guess is that AT&T does not really want to hear back from the customer especially to critique their unsatisfactory service.

If you don't like ATT then simply switch to another carrier instead of whining about poor service.

I got my third call from 888-211-7690 on March 1, 2019 at 11:10 am. Same as before - the caller did not leave a message.  I did not answer because my caller ID said, "Toll Free Number," which is used by many telemarketers.

If this was a legitimate call from AT&T doing a survey I would have given them an excellent rating.  Last month, I switched my phone service from copper to fiber and yesterday upgraded my Internet speed from 5 Mbs to 100 Mbs.  They offered me $100 off my previous month's phone bill to upgrade.  My upgrade will cost me an extra $10 per month.

    Have a good day everyone.

Called my work number four times today - two hours between calls.  I did not receive any service from AT&T, and when I picked up phone on call 4, said "Don't call back".  Let's see what happens.

Same hang up.  I’m guessing AT&T farms out the survey to a 3rd party, who robo calls.  While it’s incredibly annoying, sadly, they legally can’t identify as AT&T.

Also, speaking of pesky, annoying AT&T, I refuse to give them my email addy.  If you think this is annoying, wait until they get ahold of an email.  I received tons of useless emails.  It took YEARS to have the email removed, repeatedly marking it as spam, repeatedly calling them and eventually threatening legal action.  It was somehow re-added and I had to restart the removal process which took another few months.  You have a right to privacy.  Block block block ugh

Yep! Big ole ATT? Really? An 888 number and no name? Perhaps 5 calls to my number and no message?
Seems that they are reluctant to let people know who they are calling , anyway. Not the way to do business, Right,  ATT?

Perhaps if AT&T called the number associated with our account, I might answer and participate in their survey. As it is, another blocked caller.

Poor experience with ATT. 15 minutes on the phone navigating their "system" . Voice recognition software fail.
I don't  know which is worse, their offshore heavy-accented "help" or the system+ another 15 minutes of waiting.... Then 6 phone calls within a day wanting positive feed back. Deplorable-hidden real numbers and names on Caller ID. If their service is so good, why do they "need" positive feedback?
