Makes you wonder why the [***] who own the phone company can't identify themselves on the caller ID.  AT&T has become a rogue outfit ... I cannot stand them and their tactics.

Nothing when I answered both calls. I called the number and a spanish or other foreign fast talking woman started a real long spiel during which she sometimes said ATT in English. I recently called ATT about another of their over-charges on my bill so these calls must be surveys. But I don't understand why they talk to me in a foreign language. Shucks, it's all I can do to understand English.

I lost the dial tone to my land line a couple of days and was told that AT&T couldn't send a technician to check my outside line until the following Monday.  I saw this phone number by logging into AT&T messaging and no message was left.  It's kind of an oxymoron thing of them to call the land line when they no that there's no dial tone.

Out of curiosity, I called the number, which is a survey from AT&T.  After I input my land line number, it said that it was not eligible for the survey.  That's annoying.  Why call a number that has no dial tone and is not eligible for the survey?

If it is important enough for them to keep ringing my number, it is important enough to leave a message.  AT&T must know that MANY folks do not answer calls from toll free numbers.  And they must know that MANY folks are letting their phones ring, since AT&T is not on caller ID.  They need to either put their AT&T ID on the call or leave a message.  To continue to not do so is disrespectful to the customers.

I called yesterday to report 2 months of nuisance hang-up calls with no caller ID, so I was not pleased to get this unidenified call even though it did show the number. Their only help was to charge me $5 per month to block calls without ID. They said the only other thing they could do was charge me $10 PER CALL to send info to the police. That would be close to $1000 per month. Glad to find this site with the answer, if they do call again I will pick up and let them have it!

ATT does NOT want ME answering this call! Talk about over charges, I have been back with ATT for the past 10 months and have regretted it every step of the way...every month the bill comes and every month they charge or mis-charge me for yet something else. It has practically become a full-time job reviewing my bills and calling them, sitting on hold, then get a rep who "pretends" to tend to my problem, who wants to know if I am very satisfied with his/her customer service, I say yes (because I'm still stupid enough to think the odds are in my favor at this point that they'll get it right THIS time), and then next month the bill comes and it's still screwed up. I have to wonder how much money companies like ATT, Chase Bank, Wells Fargo Financial (just to name a few) make off us little guys who don't have time in our busy lives to watch out for the rip offs perpetrated at the hands of CORPORATE AMERICA with, incidentally, the blessing of our very own GOVERNMENT (read bank bailout)! PATHETIC! Capitalism is just another way of saying we're gonna steal from you blind!

disrespectful? more like telephone harassment...which is supposedly against the law if you happen to have the time or talents to jump through all of those ridiculous hoops.

AT&T repair quality survey.  I'm kind of annoyed with AT&T bothering me with this, but the repairman was really good so I took a minute to give him props.

A few years back the FTC, I believe it was, mandated that all companies must show there name on Caller ID.  However, AT&T is one of those companies that does not like to obey the law.

I received technical assistance from AT&T a couple of days ago, was very pleased with the result, and promptly filled out their online survey sent to me by email.  I have, however, since that time, had 4 calls from this number, which I have not answered, and which come in only as Toll Free Call, with no company identifier.  If I do happen to answer, now after seeing who it is, I shall rescind my previous satisfied comments.

Received another hang-up phone call without identification, one of many I get from this number.  No identification was given, only the telephone number.  I called that number immediately and got the recorded message that the number was not "available as dialed."  There is a law against falsifying the phone number given as identification, which these people seem to be doing.

seems it was att. they try to do follow up being they do try to figure out how to better their job next time. As always its not the company its the employees. I've had wonderful att people and crappy ones. You get what you hire. I for one always have a company bill over ten thousand dollars so of course I do get a "special" rep.  Just thought I'd throw this out too. NO ! they don't have to have a company name on a phone number. They only need to list their no. on caller id not their name. I for one don't see how fcc can or would ask to required name delivery on id from a company. We don't only number on our tolls.  still answer and give a true answer might change for the good. ken M.

Got this number coming through but it said "toll free" and nothing about AT&T, so my phone stays as a fax during the day--great way to keep away unsolicited calls! ;) BUT if they had simply identified themselves on the caller ID as "AT&T," I would have picked up---OH WELL....

I did have work done yesterday, so I'm sure that someone was calling to get my input on the service, but again, if they aren't willing to have their name on the caller ID, guess they don't need my input! ;)

I have not reported any trouble with my cell phone and received a call Wednesday morning.  Also, If I had reported a problem with my cell phone, why did they call my house phone for feedback.  I called AT&T customer service and they have no record of the phone number they called from.
