caller called all night said Alert has been issued for someone named Chavez. Not anyone I know.

They are calling my friends looking for me. I called them back and they could tell me anything unless I gave them my phone number. [***]! Leave everyone alone!

This number calls me and I don't even know the person they are asking for, done told them this servel times.

Tired of calls asking for someone related to me. Told them if you got my number you can find theirs quit harassing me!!

Same thing happened to me last 2 days in a row.  I spoke to someone per my mother was scared from the call she received for me stating there was a formal complaint against me. When I asked to have paperwork mailed "Greg at ext 424" said they don't have any. Sounded odd I never had a payday loan in 2010 contacted the bank name he gave me my account has been closed since 2009. Payday loan was for $300 but now it's $480 with fees. Scam

They have been calling me for weeks. I never answer. Calls stopped for about 2 weeks, then resumed 2 days ago, now with a new voice, sounds maybe like a live person, not sure. Anyway, I know 100% that I don't owe anybody, especially a payday lender, which is wha most of the comments here seem to be. I will continue to not answer. If they are legit, they can serve me in person.  On another note, does anybody know how to report this stuff?

Mine started with telemarketers calling up to 3 to 4 times a day, trying to get me to extend my "Ford warranty."  when I didn't fall for that, told them to take my name off of their list of people to call, I was on the "do not call" list, they increased their calls.  I guess since I didn't fall for their scam, they decided to step it up.  Now I've gotten the same voicemail you all did from the 888 number, telling me there was a formal complaint filed against one of my sons, and that they are looking for him.  I'm not answering any calls that I don't know any more; letting them all go to voicemail and blocking numbers I don't know.  I'm done with this garbage that's just wasting my time.  If any law enforcement agency is looking for my kids, they can contact me by mail.  The IRS ALWAYS contacts you in writing, never over the phone.  A sheriff's department would NEVER tell you they are coming to arrest you for a bad debt over the phone, it's a scare tactic of a scammer.  These are things I've read online from an IRS agent and a man who was a Sheriff, so don't fall for these scare tactics! NEVER give any of your personal information out on the phone, even your health insurance information; I even had someone call me once and ask for that!

Same with me, I said come and get me they started yelling at me and I started laughing so hard she started swearing and hung up so I called back and started swearing at them and they hung up again so I called back it and said how's it feel to keep getting b******* phone calls!

Got a message from an old buddy in Arizona (I'm in Iowa)  apparently they called him looking for me,  lol.  Was worried, but now I see it's most likely a scam.

That someone filed a complaint against him.

They called me and left the same voicemail. Muffled voice sounding guy saying they were looking for (via automated voice) my first and last name. They said if I know of this person's whereabouts to contact them otherwise they will have to file with my county's court. Never said what for outside of it being a 'complaint'. This is ridiculous. Definitely spam. No company name given, no name of person calling given and the number left led me to hear. Hmmm.... blocked!

Just called and said someone has a complaint on me. Since I don't deal with someone they must be calling the wrong number. Here we go 2017 with these damn calls #SCAM

Called,didn't answer&voicemail was a male stating there was a  formal complaint filed against me,and that if I don't contact them they will be filing paperwork with the local courthouse.it's definitely a scam,I've gotten calls similar to this before.

Called my husband looking for me.  "trying to get info on the whereabouts of Jane ...". Threatened to file a suit in county court.  Who are these jerks

Idiots called my brother looking for me, left him a VM and he obviously knew it was a scam. I called the number from a blocked number and since my number didn't come up on their caller ID they picked up the phone and immediately hung up. Never even said hello.
