These idiots keep sending bills or calling my husband every few years. When he picks up the phone an automated message in Spanish starts playing then after he punches the number to speak to someone it hangs up on him??? Last time they were looking for someone else by the same name who is not even in this country anymore we have learned. Its been 30 years since my husband even lived in California! And he certainly had more than enough money (wish that was still true today in this damn economy..lol!) and always paid his bills!! So NOT everyone they harrass owes them money!!

Message stated it was "KIKI" from California Service Bureau, a debt collection agency.

Just got a similar one, probably related to unpaid student loans.

My special needs brother has received many many calls - in Spanish - and cannot understand a word.  I called to tell them it is a wrong number and was told "if you just answer your phone this wouldn't happen". I asked for his supervisor and he said he wasn't available. "What am I supposed to do if he's not here?" this guy asks. What a shoddy operation this is!

I have been getting this call for almost 2 months now and the person they are trying to get does not live here
The call is a recording and when I called the number back they said they didn't have my phone number and couldn't do anything about the calls  but I keep getting them. I got one today 3/31/2014 and I would for them to stop.

They called in EARLY morning and LATE evening constantly and we just newly moved here in March 2014. When I called back , I heard that it is a service bureau something. There's nothing left in voicemail, no name, no case#, no nothing... very annoying! What the hell is going on???

You dumb ass you are as smart as a dung heap. took your advice and picked up phone. i am not who there looking for. they called day and night. finally drove to their office to show my ID and phone with number so they would not call anymore. They looked at me like I was an idiot. They said next time just don't answer a call you do not reckonize. They said it gets knocked off the to call list if their are a number of no answers.

(888) 224-5557 may be coming from a bunch of collection [***] that use daily robocalls to harass people.

Someone has suggested printing some large size Avery labels using a Word template with words and a picture saying that oral sex is available from their number, on the basis that turnabout is fair play.  Why shouldn't they receive harassing phones calls too?

I almost forgot the best part: stick the labels in as many public bathrooms as possible. Eventually the number will come to the attention of the authorities and the debt scumbags will discover that their program of phone call harrassment is a two-way street....

That's great, but if you're calling US, then maybe you should state your business and quit playing these beat around the busy crap. Nobody has time for that. Either you tell us what you want UPFRONT or we hang up. SIMPLE AS THAT.

Won't stop calling me!

Numerous calls daily for months. I can't talk to a real person. This is beyond annoying!

I have been getting these calls almost 4 times daily. I sure would like to know myself whom this number belongs too.  I hope the phone glues to their ears and never come off. HA HA HA and maybe even their mouths.

They left a message on my machine. I called back and spoke to "Rolando".

He had potentially accurate information about dates, charges, and insurance coverage visits to two local hospitals -- Seton and Mills Peninsula.

I told him I couldn't pay any bills without written documentation of what was owed, how it was computed, and that it was now owed to his company.  I also told him that in the future, he should only communicate with me by mail.

It took a while to tell him all this, because he got angry, started interrupting me, demanded to know whether I intended to pay my bills, and eventually hung up on me without confirming anything.

It Looks like they're using this tactic to bully people out of demanding documentation. Know your rights.

Repeated calls but no msg left.
