- Collections BS replies to MindyMy sister and my mother recvd the same call from Makayla Williams she was looking for me and advised my mom I was going to get served but wouldnt tell her why.. My mom told her she didnt have any contact information for me bahaha... My sister called me this morning and told me the same woman called and left messages on her voicemail for me tell her that she was coming out to serve me.. Now my family memebers live in a different state than I do so how could she possibly serve me at my sisters home... bahaha.. Im going to call her on monday and advise her that it is against FDCA to make threats to an unauthorized third party as well as leave those sorts of messages as well.. I sure we are all in collections for something and this is just a 3rd party collections agency trying any tactic to get a payment.. Well they will have to find me first.
- ReneeI got a call from these worthless scumbags and was stupid enough to fall for their scam. I am now out $1200. Which is a large portion of my savings. I am trying to dispute it, but don't hold out a lot of hope to get my money back. Whatever anyone does, don't believe a word they say and don't ever, ever give them access to your account or credit cards. I have heard of other people in my area who have been wiped out completely so I guess I am lucky it wasn't ALL my money. These people should be locked away.

- katherineCandace Lee called my cell today again. I had contacted my personal atty last night and was told to answer their call & ask specifically who was filing the claim. I was told it was a sealed document,I told her to unseal it and tell me. She said I had to call the 888#. I told her my atty advised against it and to send anything to my home address & my attry would review it. I specifically told them not to call this or my work # again and filed a complpaint with the FCC on both numbers. She said she had dialed my direct ext which is a lie since the call had been transferred by a coworker. I told them their next call to or from my office they could speak with our legal dept as I work for a huge corp. She said ok but this was just a courtesy call.

- S IN OKC replies to RI received a phone call from a woman named Jamie Torres from this number. She informed me that she would be serving papers on a bill that belongs to my best friend that she used my name as a reference. And that per the contract that my friend signed, I am being held responsible and being litigated against. However, she wouldn't tell me who the litigator was. She said she would be out the following Monday to serve me papers at my place of employment.
I mean, really, I don't owe you a dime if I didn't sign a contract!!! This pisses me off! These people need to be sued!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Brandy| 1 replyi got a call today from a private number stating in the message that they would come out to my work / home if i did not call this number 888-229-7865 to settle this.. and they did not tell me where who they were with or a call back number for them..
- brandy replies to Brandythe lady name who called me was Celina Smith..
- MariaI got a call like this and almost fell for it. A woman calling herself "Candace Lee," who sounded like an African-American female, called me threatening to serve me with papers unless I called 888-229-7865 and gave me a claim number. She insisted that unless I called and got a stop order she would come to my home and my work. I have to say she was pretty convincing. So I called the number and someone answered the phone saying "Claims." That's it, no company name, no personal name, nothing, I asked who I was speaking to and a man identified himself as "Chris Jordan." He gave me some spiel about a payday loan - though I really don't think I ever got a loan from those people - and said that I owed $1100 with court costs and attorney's fees, but I could settle it for $534 and put down a "good faith" payment.
I'm glad I read this web site or I would have lost an amount of money I really can't spare.- Caller: Claims

They just called me back, the guy name was James Sullivan asking me to vary my last four digit of my San and when I told him no he got mad and rude and tell me I will be getting my papers soon.

- Ashley replies to ErinHey I received a phone call from James Sulivan as well two days ago. And I am very fishy about this. he pretty much told me the same thing he was telling you about a loan from four or five years ago. Ive tried to call him back but the lady took a message and said he will call me in 10 minutes. I still havent received a phone call. However I did set up payment arrangements and he told me i had to agree to a set amount every week of at least one hundred dollars. I ask for information on the settlement and the company, I received a stupied looking email, without any contact information on the company and the letter they sent was not professional at all. It was not on a letter head or nothing. Im very scared and Im starting to think this is a scam as I try to find more important information.
