Good for you Denise. These people live by scamming for a living. They are fakes and frauds, period Give them nothing. I can trash talk them all i want because they wont take me to court like they say they would. I caught them in a lie , and they dont want to be exposed. When you look at their web site you see professional looking people. What they really are is dope smoking , meth users, with criminal backgrounds. Two have been arrested last six months. Thats not my words, but what the arrested people confessed to. My favorite is Lisa . She is my babe. I get excited when she curses at me over the phone. I never had a debt they claim. Yet they tried scamming me. I can tell you this. They are tracked on a daily basis by law enforcement. A case has been building. When the time is right, they will all be taken down. I will be there personally supervising the bust. It will be out of my county jurisdiction, but i am invited.Living just two hours away, i can make time. Dont talk to these people , just hang up.

Same thing happened to future wife, called and harassed and put her in tears. Ohio has statute of limitations of 6 years to collect for court so her debt is over that dont send them a thing and say goodbye. Keep file when they call and file harassment charged after told them to stop. File a complaint with BBB and Attorney General Office

Jim Bob, dont let them think you are crying. They look in on this site all the time reading peoples posts , especially mine. They cant do anything to you. They take nobody to court. Period. They are nothing but dope smokers and ex convicts trying to defraud people. If they call tell them to take you to court. They wont risk public exposure to their scam. You owe them nothin at all.All they want is to take your money right then and there.  They are nothing but a telemarketer nuisance. Get a tape recorder and record their call. Then put on you tube. My sister recently died from cancer and had a tremendous amount of medical bills that were not paid from her  medicaid from Chemo, Radiataion and the surgery also. Is there a law to protect her estate, or is it required by law for the bills to  be paid by the estate and how long dothey have to make a claim for payment? Also, do we have to run an ad in the newpaper about her death? She lived in North Caolina, and I cannot find out what is legal . Please help, if anyone has any knowledge of this situation. Thanks so  much.

Well it looks like they stopped using this number for now. They are being sued in a california federal court now. Can you guess what for. Fair debt collection act.

Debt Collectors 'Moreno And Woods' Strike Again

Another reader has contacted us to say that Moreno and Woods, the fake collection agency that likes to threaten and intimidate people into paying huge bills for collections they don't owe, "called my house last night and left a threatening message on my phone for my son." Luckily for Linda, she's got a recording of their threat now.

I have had some very distressing calls from this office... almost all of my relatives have had calls from them and i found out that they gave up all this information to my sister-in-law about an old debt that i had paid a long time ago... why are they calling me... i have yet to talk to them but what do you think i should do???

If they call tell them you want to talk to Lisa. She IS one of the sexiest women to see in person and listen to on the phone. I cant understand why she is hanging around these losers. My office here in New York has been giving information to the federal court in California about moreno and woods to build the case from Bruce Nachsin on them. Give them nothing. Tell them to never call you or your relatives again.They are trying to scam you. Their days are getting closer to the end. But i will continue to play with them and harassing them just like they tried to do me. Waiting for another one of them to get busted for drugs, dwi, or being caught as a sex offender. They will get caught again. Just so you know , they read these messages here i post against them. Hey moreno and woods scumbags. I see you have a new employee. You did not investigate the background did you. Well i did. Im watching whats going on. Did that person disclose his criminal background. His background started very young as burglary and moved up to sex offender. Wont last long though. Not yet registered as sex offender with local sheriffs department. I give him about three weeks. If he doesnt register he will be picked up. If you get a call from these people dont give them anything.

xxx- i am so upset my husbands uncle gave these people almost $4000.00 because they said the would consolidate all of his debts, he had called after receiving a sort of threatening message... they said that he had an old household bank credit card the balance was $3200.00, they said they would help him take care of it for $1800 and some change, well he said he had other debts but they already knew that... because the person he spoke to said they were veiwing his credit report as they spoke.  He asked if they could help and they said yes, they said they would contact the other agencies and get them taken care of... he recieved a letter from a different "law" office he called my husband to help him because he thought it was paid... my husband called and the lady he talked to at this 2 nd office stated that there was no call from Moreno and Woods and that even if they did call they cant consolidate a debt they dont own... My husbands uncle is devestated about this, what do we do?? I mean we contacted an attorney and he is currently looking over everything, he said we should probably contact they attrny general in our state and in NY where they are located but is there someone else we should call???

Dateline had a show last week about scumbags like these people. They are out to lie , cheat , and steal from you , period. Make their lives miserable. Tell them they will regret stealing from you. The FBI wont do anything so it is up to individuals to take back their pride, like i will be doing myself. I have seen on another web site that some guy is vowing to put them out of business . He said he spent over 50,000 dollars finding everything about their employees , where they live , family , vehicles , and lifestyle. Sounds like he was declaring war against them. I received a phone call this morning from Moreno & Woods. They said that my husband owed $5500. I immediately checked his credit report. The account this man was talking about had been closed in 2002.There was no money owed. They called me on 4-15-2009.On my husbands credit report it showed that Moreno & Woods had checked his credit report the day before. They are trying to deceive people and trying to get people's hard earn cash. I know if you money Then you should definitely pay but In our case Moreno & woods are trying to scam us. I am so sure that we are not alone and there's a lot more people that this has happened to.

you are right my husbands uncle was scammed and we are currently talking to an attorney... these people talk a good game but we will be getting his uncles money back... the attorney said that because they misrepresented themselves when they said they could consolidate the debts and because of that they got more then the debt they had was worth... its against the law... our lawyer is doing some serious back ground checking into the company and where they purchased my husbands uncles debt, because of the illegal way it was handled... my advice call your attorney do not hesitate and watch them it may only be a 200$ debt but they will tell you $4000 +

You all are correct. NOBODY owes these so called debt collectors anything, no matter if you went bad on the account or not. They are nothing but thieves trying to steal money from you. They tried to steal from me, and i put it to an end. They will not expose themselves by going to court to even trying to collect on a seven year old bad debt they say they bought. No law supports them trying to collect. They are living dangerously trying to scam people because nobody has physically checked them --- yet. Give them nothing..

Defend your sorry [***] here moreno and woods professional debt collectors. Sue me for calling you theives. Take me to court. I want to expose you for what you all are. But you wont. So i will continue to harass you as you do other people. How about a chance to defend your actions and how legitimate you think you are by appearing on DATELINE. I can and will arrange it. i was snooping around and i was wondering about the court cases that they have against them... how do you find out how they are going or the outcome of them

How do you like this one....they are calling around and telling people like her ex-husband that my client is going to be prosecuted for FRAUD...in and attempt to get her to call.  Then they left a message on her cell phone telling her the same thing...that will be a keeper.  Regardless of whether or not she may owe a debt to someone (not even sure who or what at this point) going around telling people that she is being pursued for FRAUD is a blatant violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  Real nice touch.
