They called and asked me for Charles William... he died in 1945...

I did the same thing.  Then he had the nerve to say please hold for a ?????.  Yea, OK,  I hung up.

They call me every day. I always intentionally miss it. but today I got back to them and asked them what's going on. they said they have no record of calling me. my number doesn't appear in their system. WTF? sounds like they are just trying to collect live numbers.

I have gotten this call four times a day for two weeks!  It never rings, just reports missed call! But, when I call back they say they have no record of my number!  It has been pirated.

Getting the same thing!  I think their number has been pirated.

They call 3-5 times a day now for about 5-6 weeks. I have nothing in collection according to my credit report. I have read a report that they are teh worst kind of slime going over old debts that are legally out of date. they use several numbers so be ware.

allied interstate called me. the web says they are a debt collector.i have no collectors coming after me. this is harrassment. time to get the bbb involved

They have been calling for days, this time I answered, based on the info found here.   They never said who they were and the phone just listed the number, when the person did come on line he was hard to understand and sounded Indian.  He asked for my sister in law and told him there was no such person here, then he asked for my sister in law's nephew, who lives with her and I told him the same thing.  I am definitely not going to tell them anything.

Neither can the BBB. *ba-dum-tish*

I really don't answer the call. If it doesn't have the name I won't answer. I have a good feeling it is a company trying to collect debt. Sadly I barely have enough to get by and pay for my rent.  My life has been a struggle since college.
