- BB replies to Arkansas Targetisn't illegal to id as "debt collector" without verifying who is getting the message? and calling family or friends can be done only ONCE, if I read read the rules right.
- Jack| 1 replyHave been calling my phone for over a month. At first I answered only to hear a fax machine sound blasting my eardrum. My voicemailbox is full of blank messages and whenever I delete them they fill it back up. There has been no actual communication from them, just harassment. Happened upon this site because I'm looking for a lawyer to get this harassment to stop. I don't even have a home phone or use my phone for personal use, it's strictly business so this playing around with my service directly affects my ability to do my job.

How many times will you allow them to call before you obtain a call blocker?

Please reply to this post, on 800notes.com, to let us know you read it, or have taken suitable actions to protect yourself. - AnonThis number has been repeatedly calling my cell. I don't answer calls if I don't know who they are (too many exes/stalkers trying to find me). I have a "note" app which apparently also can be a caller ID and it brought up "Sallie Mae Delin". When I google that, it brings up "Sallie Mae Delinquent Loans" which is apparently a student loan thing. I've never had a loan and it's my personal cell, so i can only assume it's either a wrong number, or the previous owner of the number owes money. Which is frustrating because they won't stop calling and I don't want to answer, But I don't think they'll stop unless someone does. May have a friend answer. I just want to stop getting woken up and interrupted by these calls
- Caller: Sallie Mae Delin

- WillieI like to know why they are calling me went I am paying off loan need to send a letter tell what they want
- JessicaThis number calls and calls leaving no messages. After 2 seconds of voice messages, they hang up. This is ridiculous and this needs to stop. I receive so many scam callers. If this is a legit company, why not leave a message.

- Emma MurdockThese calls come in frequently on my Consumer Cellular Phone, but when I answer it, there is no one there. I called Consumer Cellular on how to block it, but there is no way. I did send this number a text msg, telling them to stop calling,,,to no avail. I'm on the "Do Not Call List" but that hasn't helped either. What can I do?

- PeterI have received several calls from this number always asking for random people I have never heard of. I think they are just cold calling random people...
- New NumberI just moved to a new state and received a new number. I haven't even given my number to my family yet and as soon as it was turned on, I started receiving phone calls from this number. I owe no debt and have a high credit number. Not sure why they are calling but I blocked the number.
- Caller: Dont know. They didnt leave message
- kat bYes, it is a debt collection company and yes, they are legit. But the problem is they have my number for another person (who's been giving out this number for over four years). So, I did as KD suggested and phoned corporate at 809-811-4214. Spoke with Brian who confirmed name of deadbeat who is using my phone number. He apologized and promised my number would be deleted from call list. Whether that happens, is a moot point as I have blocked them.
- Caller: Allied Interstate

- kat bEdit to above info: corporate phone number is 800-811-4214. Sorry!

- AnonymousThis company calls me everday multiple times a day. I read thru the posts and came across the number of their parent company. So I do plan to call them and ask them to stop calling me and to take me off their list. They are Allied Interstate. I do have their number blocked on my phone. But, I will als tell them if they continue to harass me, I will be reporting them to my attorney.

- AnonymousI would like to report this number as being an annoying bill collector. I have blocked their number on my phone and have got 14 calls from them on my phone between Jan 17, 2018 -Feb 1st. 2018. You think they would get the message since they are getting their calls blocked. I plan to call an attorney and see of I can press charges on them. Do not accept any calls from this number and block them.

- Professor| 1 replyCaller ID: Allied Interstate. Comcast issued me a phone number which they had issued to a deadbeat or deadbeats. Not the first debt collector I've heard from. When I call the debt collector, they're nice and take my number off their list.
