"Melvin" of the notification center, 1-888-284-8918 ext. 124, left a message on my answering machine saying I had entered a contest 6 to 18 months ago and had won a car.  This was the only part of the message I could understand.  The recording was poor and the man's accent and enunciation were really poor.  I hadn't entered any contest and "notification center" sounded really fishy.  Did not call him back.

Received call saying I had won, 1 of 4 prizes and went through whole conversation and then asked my age and since I was under 35 he said disreguard and hung up really fast.

Called on my cell, said, "it's in your best interest to call."  Said something about the Do Not Call registry.  I am on the do-not-call registry which is worthless.  Ext 124.  The call was somewhat garbled.

Got the exact same voicemail from "Melvin" yesterday that many of you have already described - that I entered a contest, that I had won and needed to call back, and that this was not a scam.

I am in Tampa.  Sounds like they are doing this all over the country!  I think I will call them back on a different line, with a fake name and mess with them a bit........just for fun.  :)

I derived calls from this group last year and again this year.  It is nothing but a scam.  And I, too, am in the do not call registry - what a waste!

Received a call from this number. When I answered, a guy said: "Oh! wrong number. Have a pleasant day" I guess he wanted to get a man on the phone (I'm a woman)

I to just received a call from 1-888-284-8918   ext 128  ( Abonda ) Same stuff as all of you. At least they speak English .  Scam all the way ! !

I attended as well.....wonderful presentation and got a vacation and a ipad...

Ive notice that everybody on here thats saying its a scam has never attended an awarding to verify if its a scam or not!

Alberta I think its really hard for people to believe that something is given to them ahe s a form of advertisement in hopes of generating future business!!!

I dont understand why they have an A rating with the BBB!?

I received a call from this number today. Same story as the others posted on here.  

I did call the number back and when they told me it was a travel agency and I would win 1 of 3 prizes: a Ford Explorer, a TV or a Vacation I knew what this was all about...  I would obviously win the Vacation!!  Not to gloat but I sniffed this out as soon as one of the prizes was a "Family Vacation"

I don't know the specifics and I will not be calling them back to schedule for me and my wife to see their presentation.

I have won contests in the pasts and every time, if the contest is legit, you just go to a location and get your prize and walk away.  They will not ask you to do anything except show up with photo ID and some sort of password that you give them over the phone like Puppy Dog, or Peanut Butter.

i as well received this call, i showed up at the sight of the presentation, not knowing if it was a scam or not, because it was just out of curiosity, and i have a few friends in really high places, so i was not worried about a lost but anyway... i showed up and sent a friend in the hotel ramada on westshore blvd, in tampa, fl  there is actually a travel agency in the lobby, but,my friend said it wasn't open all the lights were out .. even if they really are just trying to get their "name" out there, they are completely going to end up with a super negative effect if they keep disappointing people like this!  and now of course i can't get anyone to answer the phones when i tried calling ... i want my car dag nabbit...lol

I've been getting voice mails telling me to call 866-430-3180 ext. 124 on my cell for 6 months from 312-789-5686!  Always a recording from "Melvin" at the "Notification Center" telling me I entered to win a car (I NEVER give out my cell # to people I don't know and I don't enter contests).  Saying they're aware of the do not call list (I am on it and have reported at least 5 of their calls), that it's in my best interest to call back and that he has called multiple times and this is his last attempt (promises, promises!).

When I've tried to answer the calls there is no one there.  I called back the number "Melvin" left about 3 months ago and reached a woman who said she would put me on their do not call list.  I still got calls from them.  Now this week I'm getting the same voice message from "Melvin" from a different #:708-248-7796, asking me to call him at this new # 888-284-8918 ext. 124.  I called from my home phone, dialing *67 first to block my name and number from appearing on their end.  I reached a woman who said "Let me get my do not call list so I can add you" (really? a hard copy list, not in their computer?).  She then said she would add my # to her list and she read me my HOME phone # that I had tried to block AND my husband's name to their do not call list.  I said that's fine, but I also want my cell # on the list so they stop the calls the've been making to it.  She said OK and again gave my husband's name as the owner of the cell #.  Soooo, what kind of equipment do they have that can get caller ID from blocked calls?
