- suncitysandyReceived this call at 8:30 AM on Saturday, October 13th. Left the same kind of message that a contest was entered and call back etc. etc. We have Contact 13 here and I will be sending this info to the Attorney Generals office and Contact 13. These scammers sure are brazen!

- LisaMy husband received a message from this number yesterday. He had me listen to the message and, as most people are saying, the audio is terrible! I thought the guy said he won a "saw", not a car. lol I couldn't distinguish what company he said he was from, his name, and barely got the phone number. I didn't get the extension he gave. The phone number, however, was 1-888-284-8918.
I haven't heard these sorts of calls for decades. Usually, they want you to think you won something then when you call back, they want to mail you papers to sign (for a fee), or when you get to the "event", they want to try to sell you a timeshare or something. Delete!! - PeggyPhone call from Melvin today. I had to listen a couple of times. I did not enter a contest, and my husband does not remember entering a contest recently. Thanks for everyone's comments! We will NOT be calling back!
- VirginiaMelvin 'from the notification center' called me today and left a message on my answering machine. Said I was 1 of four top winners for a drawing someone entered my name in within the past 12-18 months and this was my final notification needed to call back asap. They are aware of the do not call list and would not be calling unless we had actually won, this is not a cold call, they're not telemarketers, etc, BUT, he didn't state my name, nor did he state what company he was calling on behalf of. Screams scam to me.
- samWhat the hell is 'the notifcation center'? I can't imagine it would be worth any companies time to use this kind of marketing strategy... obvious scam here.

- Mr. NewsSame shpiel, only I got "Derrick," whose diction was excellent. Sounded like a boiler room in the background, and they're probably selling magazines. This crap is totally illegal, and I'll just report it to the (useless) FTC Do Not Call site.

- BettyReceived a call early a.m. from this number...claimed I had won one of four prizes, i.e. a ford Bronco, $25,000 in cash, etc........the scary part is that they had my full name and address (along with my telephone number of course).....I told them that it sounded "too good to be true" and hung up.....then I looked up the phone number on the internet and found this website along with many others containing endless complaints...

- Cicily replies to Pissed offJust recieved a call from them. I am going to call them and give them a piece of my mind. :-) they have officially calle dthe WRONG girl!
- kimberlyMelvin. Who sounded like a drag queen also left me a voicemail saying I too won a car on a contest I had entered months back. Also said. This is not a cold call timeshare or solicator. States time sensitive matter. U can win 1 of 4 major prizes but I must call back asap. They drew my name and have tried several times to reach me yet this is the first time they called me sounds like scam
- WindowMeGot the same call from Melvin yesterday in Raleigh. I am amazed no one realizes this is truly legit. He said he called me several times, must be my caller ID is bad. Anyway, awaiting a brand new 2013 Delorean to be delivered next week. LOL

- TracySame here. Call on my machine from Melvin @1.888.284.8918 ext 124 two days in a row now. He said that I filled out a contest entry to win a car 12-to-18 months ago and I'm one of four winners of a top prize. Of course, I had to listen three times to understand what he was saying. It is obviously a scam -- probably just fishing for person information. Be careful.

- Rich PascoI got a call on Fri 10/26/2012 from Richard at "The Notification Center" stating that my name was pulled from a drawing for a new car I had entered in the last 12-18 months (I don't recall doing that), and that I won one of four prizes, this is not a cold call and thus not in violation of the Do Not Call list. My caller ID showed 888-284-2918 and he asked me to return his call at that number, ext 126. I got around to calling back today and, on ext 126 got a voicemail with the same voice.
