- TammyCaller name "Linda" pretended to represent Visa/Mastercard. She called to say that our account had been overcharged and that she wanted to change our fees.
Turned out to be a scam.- Caller: Top Tier
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Karen replies to YesThis scam artist goes by the name Top Tier and they've contacted several of our merchants. This last scam caller told our merchant they were overcharged on their July merchant account statement and they were hired by us to review it and correct it. This is so low. I guess they can't get new merchants without lying and being unscrupulous. We are an honest and straight forward merchant service provider and would never stoop this low to gain new accounts.
- JohnnyChase Wilson, ext.1412, called to let us know that we over paid fees for the months of June, July, and August. It is the same scam that they have tried for months. Do not fall for it and do not give them any information. They are bottom feeding scum of the earth. Why can't our law enforcement get these guys shut down?

- JoyceReceived a call from Chase Wilson of Top Tier Corrective Billing stating we have been overcharged on our fees for the last 3 months and we are to be credited back. I kept trying to get him to state who our credit card processor was, but he never would answer it. I don't have my statements here, so I told him I would need to look at my statements. He asked me to call him back at 1-888-315-9629 Ext 1412. I said ok and hung up and immediately got on line because I thought it was a scam . . .!

- BlakeThis place is NOT legit! Do NOT send them your statements. They are not a merchant support and they need to be investigated. Biggest scammers than Reagor Dyke.

- DianaThis “company” is a scam! Don’t be fooled people. Google “Top Teir Merchant Support” and it doesn’t even bring up a website none the less a business under that name. I know someone that got fired from there and all they do is get you to send statements so that they can get their salesman to get you to switch! They don’t even know if you’re being over billed or not! DO NOT SEND YOUR STATEMENTS!!! THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!

- Freda replies to YesThanks for having this on the web, this is the second time they try.
- DonnaReceived a call from Lance Moore. The same information as relayed by many of the others on this site... "you were overcharged for PCI compliance fees"; "Just pull out your statements and I'll walk you through the process to get a refund", etc., etc. I suspected it was a scam immediately, but told him I was very busy with a customer, and would have to call him back. He gave me his number 888-315-9629, ext. 1406, and his email address "statement@toptierpaymentsolutions.com". And yes, also gave me a confirmation number that I could simply write on one of my statements and email it for a refund of $89.24. Lol, I had no intention of doing so! Like everyone else here, when in doubt, it's always a good idea to refer to this website as an initial tool. Even if no suspicious information comes up for the number you're inquiring about, use common sense and don't ever give out information to anyone who randomly calls with inquiries like this.

- LEVI| 1 replyExactly as all the calls above, I too was called from 888-315-9629. Chase Wilson from Top Tier needed me to fax him a copy of my latest statement and he will take off the PCI Compliance fees. We were in compliance and should not have been charged. I told him to email me first then I will research what he needs. I did my research and found this site!!! BEWARE they are slick. I did not give out any information to this man!!!! SCAM!!!

- Teresa replies to YesThey are still at it. Called my office yesterday, claiming they would refund fees on my credit card statement that we were over charged. I asked several times if she was working with my credit card company and she never answered directly, only that my merchant sends my statements. She then asked for me to fax my credit card statement. Fax number given 877-277-1875. I wrote down they phone number on caller-id 888-315-9629. Called the number back and the man that answered abruptly and said "Yea", then changed his tone and said "Top Tier", I asked for Linda at ext. 1419, who I then questioned about our earlier conversation and her working a scam. She abruptly hung up. BEWARE OF FAST TALKERS THAT DON'T ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS - SCAMMERS !!!

- georgiaClaimed to be from "merchant services", which is not a company name, it's a generic group of services offered to businesses who accept credit cards. When repeatedly pressed for identifying information, she could not provide a recognizable company name, just talked real fast about there being some sort of "overcharge" and that we were definitely "in compliance", but we had been overcharged and didn't we see these charges on our statement? and once we locate those statements we can call back and she'd be happy to help us get those "non-compliance" charges reversed. She was clearly American and confident and sounded very convincing, other than the whole thing not making any sense whatsoever.
