- BRENDAKrys called identifying herself as Merchant Services and said that we had been overcharged on our July and August Charges and wanted me to send a copy of our Merchant Statements to her at Statements@TTPS75081.com. Called my merchants Services rep and was told this was not true. She called back twice saying she had to have it today. I turned my office manager loose on her. SCAMMMM

- A.| 1 replyReceived this call today from "Top Tier." "Carrie" stated that I was overcharged by 5% for the months of July & August and I needed to fax or email my statements so they could verify the overages and refund my account. None of it "felt" right. Why would a third party monitor a merchant account for fee overages? I told her I didn't have time to send statements right now and even told her I wanted to do some research first. She gave me a claim number & extension to call back when I was ready to send the statements. Glad I looked this up before proceeding.

- TerriReceived two calls from Chase (ext 1418) at Top Tier Billing Merchant Services stating we were overcharged for 'Interchange" fees for the month of August & September. We need send our statement then they would provide a "PCI Correction Code" we would need for a refund. I replied "this doesn't sound legitimate..why do you need my statement? If you overcharged me, just issue a refund" He quickly turned rude and replied "Ma'am, I dont make the policy, I just work here". They also called on one of our unlisted phone lines. Our merchant would have called the phone line they have in their files.

- Nash"Carrie" called from "Top Tier Corrective Billing". Said her return call number was 888-315-9629 (ext 1407). Said we had been overcharged by our merchant service provider and we were due a refund. We needed to mail copies of our merchant statements to them so they could issue a credit ... but she could not tell me who our merchant service provider was nor could she tell me the exact amount we were over charged. Can anyone say SCAM !!!!

- Sheri C.Just got off the phone with Tonnie from "Top Tier Payment Solutions". I was skeptical and told her so. Told her I would call my processor and get back to her. Gotta give her credit...she was smooth! Called my processor, and of course they confirmed that this is a SCAM!! GRRRR!!

- BigA replies to Wendy WickerIf someone had actually overcharged you they would give you a credit on your next bill if you had an account or would have sent you a check in the mail. That's simply common sense.
- BrianWanted me to text statement to them to reverse cpi charges. I knew My company never communicates in this manner. Told " tonnie" I would need to call her back and she gave me the # 1-866-298-4139 which is also on the scam list. BEWARE !

- MH replies to A.I received EXACT same call from same person "Carrie" today..I questioned, wouldnt they know how much we were overcharged...she said they were only in charge of processing the refunds. I said I didnt have them at my fingertips Id have to get back to her later..she gave me same return number. I told her I dont feel comfotable in this day and age sending things like that via email..she said email or fax and I could delete acct numbers on statements....very smooth and convincing. Sent email to our processor to verify as well as checked here...glad I did.
- TerriI just got a call from a lady telling me I had been overcharged on my statements in November and December 2019 and she was needing to refund the over charges. The thing is she couldn't tell me how much I had been overcharged and needed me to get my statements. Trying to understand why she didn't have my merchant statements and the total amount I've been overcharged. I think I had the same thing happen a few years ago. However, I was told this time that over 5000 small business had been charged big corperartion rates. I am glad I checked the number and didn't give any information out.

- NickiCalled my office and asked for the person in charge of our "merchant account". We don't have one. She spoke really vast and was really vague whenever I tried asking her what the call was for. Identified herself as "Vicky Johnson". I told her I would take a message and give it to the person in charge but I'm not going to. It is most definitely a scam because she provided me with the same number everyone else here is mentioning.

- KarenSame as the last report. It is a scam. Tried to get me to send me a copy of our merchant services statement with the fees circled. Sounded like they were trying to get me to change companies but were being very shady about it. Pretended to be our current company for processing credit cards. Said to send our statement Attn: Joseph overbilled

- TK SavannahFirst received a call from Tonnie with Top Tier Payment Solutions who gave me a correction code. Then received another call from Taylor who kept me on the phone for hours going over my account statement item by item, sounded very believable, said we were being over charged for our credit card processing and she would adjust my rates down to what they should be. After this incredibly long conversation she told me my terminal was not compliant and that I needed a new terminal which they would sell me for $1,250.00. That's when I suspected that this was a scam and told her I would have to research the company she worked for and found there were multiple complaints about this company. These people are very slick and suck you in to giving them information about your existing credit card processing company. Just tell her you want to know who she works for and google that company.

- JoCall from Vicki Johnson with Merchant Services. Said our account has been charged fees due to non-compliance of PCI. I can have those charges reversed if I fax her a current statement and we can update our PCI while on the phone. I called merchant services and they said my PCI didn't require updating until March 2020. She called again this morning to complete the process. I told her I had updated everything and she is still insisting I fax her a statement so the fees can be reversed. Bless it. *o*

- Becka FranzenLinda from "Merchant Services" 1-888-315-9629 has made several calls to our office, explaining that we are being over charged on our merchant services invoices. She states she only has a small window of time to get the corrections made to our account, she needed me to urgently send over the last two months of statements. When I asked her if this was a sales call to try and get us to change process services she quickly replied that I had not let her explain anything and told me to call my process service and disconnected the call. I called our process service and it was explained to me that they would never call us without introducing the true name of their business and would not ask us for statements as they already have those on file. I called back and a woman answered "thank you for calling Top Tier" - SCAM!
