It is indeed Earthlink. I contacted them by live web chat with an associate and told them I had recently lost my job. I wanted to change my service. I do in fact owe them for a month of service. I told them that they would get their money on November 8. They keep calling, repeatedly. Yesterday they called every hour for eight hours straight, sometimes twice.
It is always someone different. I think they are idiots. None of them speak English well enough to understand that I don't want them calling. I finally had the number blocked but they continue to call. My cell phone lights up repeatedly but I will not answer it.

I just got a call from this number.  It was from Earthlink and it was a survey on how my customer service call went the other day.  I have to stand up for Earthlink - they have been my internet provider since 1995 and I've had NO trouble with them at all!

This is now a fax machine that calls at all hours - ODD but that is why Earthlink isn't what it once was - though I must say the customer rep I spoke with earlier in the day was in India and rude.

I just got a call from this number that HAD to be a fraud.   The girl, who called herself Shaniya and had an Arabic accent, was very demanding that I give my credit card number, but she could not provide me with the name of a supervisor or an internet contact address.

Do NOT call again.  I get calls almost daily.

I've received severa (8)l phone calls from this # and not once did they leave a message. I will not answer calls that aren't in my phone book. Please report their harassment. Thanks

I am on the do not call list. I have an unlisted number. I have taken every precaution to NOT be called by numbers and people I do NOT know. And I don't want ANY kind of solicitation from anyone for anything via my phone. And yes it seems to be earthlink, and they are HUGE idiots, and part of the problem of our country outsourcing to other countries. It is just so annoying that you can pay for services not to be bothered, you can report numbers to the proper channels and STILL they are bothering people. What is wrong with this picture?

This is the correct number for Earthlink Account Services. However, it is easy to show any number as the caller ID so never give out personal information on incoming phone calls.

I don't know what the heck Earthlink is but I've gotten more than 30 calls from this number and the few times I tried to answer, there wasn't anyone there. It's obnoxious and I just want it to stop.

Just got ANOTHER call from this number (probably the 50th time), picked up and nobody was on the line.

This number is earthlink. Had problem with puter and they helped me fix my problem.

I got a call from this number before 6am (I live on the west coast).  I picked it up and listened and there was no one there.  I suspect it was Earthlink because I am a customer and currently having an account issue because the credit card number on my account was changed and they can't tell me who did it, when it was done or why.  So I will not give them any information that will no doubt be hacked again.

Disabled, and my only life-line is filled with stupid, pointless calls I have to struggle to get to the phone to answer.  Can't we choose getting off this list, too.  The no-call-list takes care of only a portion of the unwanted calls.

I have another way to put these guys away.  I bought a Panasonic wireless phone system that lets me block calls in it's own memory.  If that number calls again the phone rings once and then gives them a busy signal.  I get some twisted relief every time I see it work, I feel like i'm flipping them off.

I have gottten calls from this #  over the last few days & now its becoming  abusive....

I get calls from this number at least 4 times a day, everyday, for the past 30 days. I answered the very first time they called. They said they were Earthlink and I needed to pay an outstanding balance of $4 with a new credit card as the credit card on file was no longer valid. Of course I told them to send me a bill or update my online account to show the outstanding balance. I personally checked my balance online and it was current, both billing and my credit card. I no longer answer the phone when this number calls, but still get calls 4 times a day, everyday, at all times of the day. I'm on the "Do Not Call' list.

I have received calls from them, however, I never answer the phone if caller ID is not present. I repeatedly place myself on the 'Do Not Call list'  They don't leave messages. Yesterday I got 23 unwanted calls, and today I have two so far but it's only 8:45 a.m.

3 calls in 5 min.  I picked up the phone but did not speak.  No one on other end.  They have called before too.  I am on the Do Not Call list.
