Fake chase number and some woman asking questions about personal information concerning my chase account.

Don’t answer this number!! Telemarketer trying to get your personal information

I answered the call.  It was a woman from Chase bank wanting to verify information regarding a credit card application.  I hung up and called the number back and it was indeed a Chase bank number.

So why are you here? You know who called so logically you would have no reason to look up the phone number. Besides, just because "it was indeed a Chase bank number" upon call back doesn't mean it was actually Chase who called you. Have you never heard of phone number spoofing?

I contacted the REAL Chase fraud department. This is NOT one of their phone numbers. It's a scammer looking to get personal information. AVOID!

This call got through my spam call blocker so I answered it out of curiosity and it was a woman calling from Chase verification. I had been told this department was closed on weekends so I looked the number up ASAP but all she wound up asking was if I had applied for a credit card or not, which I had. She did not ask for any personal information and confirmed my application approval over the phone and that was it.

Yesterday they left a message re my application for a Chase credit card. Foreign accent. Left a reference number.
How did they know that I applied for a Chase credit card????

Caller claimed to be from Chase Bank calling about my account that supposedly had fraud activity.  Lady wanted ID info from me and wanted to text access code to me.  Gave no info and said I HAVE NEVER EVER HAD AN ACCOUNT AT CHASE BANK!!!  She quickly ended the call.

Woman named "Brittany" called asking for personal info. I told her to kick rocks. She promptly hung up. Called the REAL Chase bank and spoke to their security department and they confirmed the number is bogus. SCAM all day.

Same as above experience. I didn’t answer let it go to voicemail. Real woman left a message and wanted me to return her call. Nope!

Scam called stating a mutual customer had a question. Asked if they had the customer on the line and for chase id. Said they weren’t able to provide that and the customer wasn’t on the line as per regular procedure with banks.

Same thing happened to me a week ago. Told me it had been approved and card would be here in a week or 2.

Claimed they were from Chase Fraud services. Left a message with my full name and asked I call a different number and provide my reference number. I researched it and this is a Chase number. They both are. They were calling to verify information to send me a credit card I had applied for. They completed it over the phone. I received email confirmation and the card. No issues.

Just because it's a Chase number doesn't mean all calls from it are actually from Chase. Or have you never heard of phone number spoofing?
And why are you even here? Do you often look up known phone numbers?

Recieve call from this number asking me all kinds of questions as to how and why I paid the balance of my credit cards, threating to turn off my Chase Card when the balance is zero.....I told him turn it off don't care. But then thought was spoofing for info, IDK but I hung up.

NOT CHASE (verified with actual Chase). Terrible quality connection and a kid was screaming in the back. They knew about my applications and card info.

Not Chase (I verified with real Chase phone number). A woman called me with this number. The connection is very bad quality terrible quality. She knew about my real problem with people writing fake checks with my old Chase Checking account and she tricked me into giving her a Chase OTP number.

Received a call supposedly from Chase (caller ID showed Chase (888)373-1969). I did not pick up since we do not bank with Chase. A mans voice that was hard to understand left a message that he was calling from chase fraud prevention concerning my credit card ending in xxxx and to call back 1-800-945-2000. Researched the 1-800 number and it is listed as a scam in Rockland County. Not anymore! They are now trying to scam Lower Westchester residents.

This number called me claiming to be Chase doing an account overview. But it was very odd and I believe it to be a SCAM caller. Chase said they did not call. Even though they are using a Chase phone number. It's not really Chase. There were so many red flags with this phone call. The called was EXTREMELY rude too. The whole experience was unsettling. Why can't we live in a world with GOOD HUMANS!!!???
