Received fancy pink letter stating "immediate response to this notice required". Telling me my factory warranty will expire or may have already expired. [duh the car is 8 years old..buy w/e]

Was supposed to call 1-888-395-8636 immediately. No company name. No details. Scary looking 'account' detail sample of 12k listed in back. If you don't look carefully you get scared. JUNK! Huge scam. NEVER CALL them.

I got mine today too on a vehicle that was passed down to me after my nana passed away. Her husband said she used to get these all the time. They will hear a piece from me if I receive another one. That's crazy! I've had the vehicle for about a week in my name. What low life's do this.

I have received both calls and post cards. I just put this car on the road after receiving it from my grandpa who passed away. The warranty on this car is still good for 2 more years. I asked them how they got my number cause I just got the car (still dont have my new title in the mail yet) and they couldnt tell me how. I told them I'll deal with the company that has my warranty now and not to call me again!! They still call!! Next phone call I'm telling them they will hear from my lawyer!!! FAKES!!!!!!

My 94 y/o grandmother recently purchased a used car still under warranty and recieved a post card almost immediately. Not realizing what it was she called 888-395-8636. Within moments of the call being answered she was verbally harrassed to tears. She hung up and called me. I tried the number. No business identification, just a pleasant voice who put me on Hold. Although I was "first in call order", I was never connected.

Over 50 calls from various masked numbers that are ultimately masking this one. Police report filed. NSA, DoD, DoC, and my Congressman will be alerted next as when I called FCC I was informed they only do informal complaints now.

Received a "final notice" postcard in the mail today earning me the warranty on a car we no longer own had expired or is about to. The other side states our immediate attention is required but gives no company name.
In very tiny print at the bottom on the other side it states "All contracts administered by American Auto Shield and Royal Administration Serviced" so i guess they're the sender?
Anyway, into the circular file with it.

Get the calls and the post cards all the time.   When I have some free time, and have nothing better to do, I have fun with them.   Had a few beers, called them up and let out the biggest BUUUUUUURP I probably have ever did in my life.   Also did the same thing after a Taco Bell binge, but from the other end.   Had to spray the phone for day's afterwards.    One other time I called them up and told them to hold on after a few minutes.  Called the 3 year old into the room and told her Sana Clause was on the phone.  They also do not take to kindly to being told their parents are brother and sister.

1-888-395-8636 SCAM.If you live in Illinois this is a scam number AND scam mail.
Unfortunately, I thought it was a real business. It has the hours and professional look to it. When I called they were super persistent that I had to have this warranty. When I told them I couldn't afford it they deducted a fair amount of money from the original payment plan.
After some suspicion from talking to my family about it, I called them back to cancel. I was on the phone for an hour arguing that I wanted my warranty canceled. When I told the lady I want my warranty canceled she had "phone issues" and couldn't hear me. After five minutes she suddenly could hear me.
The lady simply rambled on about how precious their warranty is and the benefits. Completely ignoring what I wanted. Then she offered to deduct more money from the original payment plan.
Red flags everywhere.I had to change my card number.
