Post Card saying factory warranty  on my 2017 ?? has expired or about to expire.  SCAM! Irritates me that they get by with this, preying on unsuspecting people, especially Seniors (like my mom) who may fall for this and send them money.  I will turn this over to Post Office as MAIL FRAUD!!!

Yes I received this same post-card and I really thought it was about my recall on my Honda... Called and this turned into a conversation that was totally "SCAM"... I just politely told them I did not like the way the conversation was leading and was going to hang up well this man kept talking and I said sorry and hung up...

It is a SCAM... Not sure if one were to purchase this warranty, and actually get anything... Reports above have pretty much said what I could say.

Received a final notice on the warranty for my one year old car. I’m always a skeptic so I googled the number. I know I have other warranties specified to me by the dealership themselves so I’m a bit hard to break. At the very bottom of the notice, in very small print, they do state the name of the sender... Eleras Automotive Group specifying they are not your dealer or manufacturer. What a scam!

Called them to see what they have to say. Told me I had to close the deal today or lose my special deal. After asking them repeatedly they finally told me it was $711 per year or I had to pay $595 now and around $295 per month!  I also asked them who they were and they said American Auto Shield. Luckily an important call came in and I had to hang up. Total scam.

***Did not receive a call*** I received a "Vehicle Alert Notice" with no return address, but provided 888-395-8636 to call to buy extended warranty. As someone stated earlier, it has a Presorted First-Class Mail, US Postage Paid, Aurora, IL, Permit # 895. I decided to Google the phone number and found this feed as the first hit. Now, I have to explain this postcard is false to my elderly parents. Wish me luck! Will file a complaint with BBB.

"misleading yet not illegal".  I wonder if you yourself are not with the fraudulent scammers themselves!  It is very plausible that you and the scammers would keep an eye of what being said about you online.  You would google your very own [8883958636] phone number].  And then try to mitigate your offense "just recycle or toss it in the trash"! I could be wrong, yet I could be write...
To me, it sounded like a "federal offense" to use the US Postal Service for defrauding the public!

"I'm just a internet troll" I guess that explains why you replied to a post from 2015.
