- Sandra Lee replies to GlennYou probably WORK for them
- Desmond replies to Eli JonesI have received the same call from 18775786952 rep.name Brenda.
- brandi replies to GlennFunny thing though... I obtained an online loan and paid back 3 times the amount, so not everyone who gets a payday loan is a shifty dodging thief. I PAID my bills and you obviously have never had your identity stolen. Anyhow. put yourself in others shoes and walk a day in their shoes and maybe you could be a little kinder or compassionate. God bless you.
- Sally Jones is D-U-M-B replies to sally jones| 1 replySally Jones, you are a liar and probably work for them. There is no way you are going to miss a court date if you are supposedly served. If you wrote a bad check, the county will send you a certified letter and give you an opportunity to pay the check before pursuing charges. What an idiot you are. It is obvious you work for these creeps.

- k| 8 repliesok so this jerk calls me threatening me that he is a process server for the county i live in and that he needs to confirm my information to serve me for writing bad checks accross state lines... he leaves me the number 877 240 1641 to supposedly speak to whom ever the person is who is suing me - i get this rob davis jerk (fyi not the person whom i supposedly took the loan out on). i ask him to certify me debt in writing -- as i was advised my my attorney --- and he refuses to without me verifying all my info -- yeah right. by law they have to provide the info if i request it within 5 days.. duh! i will admit i did take out a payday loan, however somehow my bank account got hacked and there was money flying in and out that i hadnt authorized from all different sources.. my bad.. i was desperate, lesson learned.... so my bank had me change all my acct info and disputed all charges cause noone could figure out what was what.....ive asked several of these "collectors" to verify the debt.. i personally have no problem paying them off, as long as i know it was legit and verifyiable cause i have no idea what belongs to who!! and fyi to them ... my county only uses sherriffs for process serving!!

- In FL replies to In FL| 4 repliesDon't worry K... I'm doing the same thing. The no name idiot guy called my place of employment... but my direct line and left a message for my "immediate" supervisor. Well, he called back to back about 3 times and then left a message stating that I committed "check fraud" and he needed my supervisor or legal dept to call him back at their "legal" department because they want to serve papers. Well, he was very dumb because the message he left is clearly harassment as well as outside of the FDCPA laws. I have the recording as well as copied the message as a archive message to my work phone and personal phone. He left only the 877 number and no name... lol but ext353 for their legal dept. I will also be contacting a consumer protection attorney. You are right... this has to stop and since they won't neither will I with going toe to toe with them. I told them I have no problem paying my debt but before I enter into any agreements, they need to provide me with documentation. They refused... Oh well, I have all of my documentation, dated and all outlining what I would do concerning my debt. It's all good... Let'sGo!
- In FL replies to KJust Filed my FTC complaint... now I'm going to the Attorney General of the State of FL

They called my father and left a threatening message similar to all the ones above. They also called my sister-in-law who happens to have the same first and last name as I do, and threatened her in the mistaken belief that I am she. Funny thing is, I don't owe any payday loans, I paid the last one back six months ago, and the address they have for me is 5 years out of date.- Caller: USC Mediation Firm

- Vince in AZ replies to Sally Jones is D-U-M-BBUSTED!!! :) Obviously a shill working for them. They OBVIOUSLY can't set a court date in absentia because you refused to take a phone call! Was it a criminal charge? HELLO!! They don't have any kind of court hearing without sending the police over with a warrant. Sometimes they will send a "show cause" letter. Screening calls? What a laugh! You are probably going to jail for wire fraud.
- K replies to In FL| 3 repliesI've also posted their info and more on "social networking" sites --- I figure that might help to get the word out.... Post it all and ask everyone to share - might help save someone else!! I am googling them and posting everywhere I can!!! Harassment can go 2 ways --- play fair or I won't either!!!
The more of use that post and google... the worse it is for USC mediation!! Make sure everyone knows their rights and to report to the FTC if they r harassed!! - cc replies to GlennGlenn, get a life. You have no idea what is going on, so quit wasting your time trying to educate people on your [***] nonsense. These idiots that are calling do not have an address, website or proof of debt (if they do, it's a bogus email). A collection agency would never say the things they say or leave a detailed message about a debit on a voicemail or someone other than the debtor (you need to read FCRA guidelines). A debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter. It's hilarious they say "We are coming with law enforcement". Obviously they don't know how our legal system works. And what collection agency advises a person to pay with a pre-paid Visa, really? The only reason a person would be responding on this site is if they have been harassed. You on the other hand are either very bored or one of the idiots doing this scam.
By the way, don't start a sentence with "And". Facebook and Twitter should be capitalized. I think you meant "costs our great country" and not county. Educate yourself. - ccBy the way, if they give you a case number, it's not even a valid case number. The only way these scum can get someone to fall for their stupid scam is to scare them with jail time, law enforcement, etc. If they only left messages to call them back, it wouldn't seem as urgent. There are so many fines they could receive if they were a real company. They go by several names and have hundreds of phone numbers because it's easy to do.

- Angry11212I just got a call today and they stated that I owe $300 from a payday loan. They told me that if I pay them now that I could avoid going to court. I admit that in the distant past I applied for a payday loan and I paid it back. I contacted the lender they said they were collecting on behalf. The lender advised me that I have a $0 balance and that I am in good standing.
So I called back USC and asked for a fax number to send over documentation that verifies that I have a $0 balance. He (USC) side stepped the question and suggested I dispute the matter in court. He asked me for my account number but in turn I asked him for the account number used by the lender and he provided me with a bogus account number.
I reported a complaint to the BBB via email and will be kept update on this matter. They are a scam and will eventually get caught. It's just a matter of time.- Caller: USC Mediation
