In my case, they're harmless.  They're hired by the auto dealership that performed my repairs.  They call to get feedback on my most recent service experience.

this is a survey company.  they call me every time I bring my car in for service.  This company prob does satisfaction surveys through out the country.

The only auto dealer I spoke with was Beverly Hills BMW on Saturday, May 12. I gave him my number so he could answer a question for me.
I will NOT be purchasing a car from them.

I just got a call from this number too. If they wanted to talk to me so bad, they could leave a message and an extension of an individual for me to return their call. Otherwise, forget it. They ain't getting nothing from me. My hubby bought me a car on Mother's Day this year.

yea. I received a call from that number too. i also was online and filled out a pricing estimate form. i am kind-of pissed b/c the description of the 'price estimate' leads you to believe that you will get to see roughly the cost of the vehichle you were looking at... instead they dont do that, but the send your info to the closest dealership. if i wanted to talk to them, i would call them myself or stop by. ph well.

Took a test drive at a Toyota dealership in GA several days ago and have received two calls from this number.  I let the first one go to voice mail and no message was left.  The second one I answered and no one was on the line and it hung up on me.  The Toyota dealership did ask for my cell phone number and one of their sales reps followed up with me on a perspective purchase calling me on my cell phone from a different number that does belong to the dealership.

They called and left no message. I have no idea how they got my number.

I've gotten two calls from this number and haven't done anything related to inquiring about pricing on a car.

Bought a car in Baton Rouge LA a couple of days ago, don't know who this is, not answering, not interested in using my cell phone minutes for someone who can't even leave a voice mail.  I'll stay annonymous and they can too for all I care.

I test drove a toyota, honda and finally bought a subaru last week.  Obviously this is related to cars, but what good is it if they don't talke to anybody?  I don't understand how calling and hanging up is benefiting anybody.  What I really want to know is how much are these people getting paid?  It has to be easy work, all they do is dial phone numbers and hang up the phone!

Received 4 such hangup calls within 2 days of visiting a Honda dealership in Houston.

Continous calls to my home phone for a couple weeks now, no one there when I answer.  Very annoying.  Also, tried to call them back and received message "all circuits busy, try later".  I have done internet searches for new cars, so evidently that is the link, but I don't give out my telephone number.  Would like to have them STOP calling.

How do I block numbers like this on my Verizon cell phone?  I thought I was on the do not call list.

1-888-481-7225 called, I did not answer, they left no message. I visited Clear Lake Honda in Houston, TX Saturday night to kill time and look at  hybrids.  Looks like it was a mistake to give them my phone number.  They should have told me they were going to use it for uses not not explicitly authorized by me.

This number has appeared on my office phone and cell. I test drove a Chevy pick up last weekend.

I inquired about purchasing a car while mine was being repaired from an accident i got a phone call from the number asking to do a survey about my visit. My car was being repaired at the same dealerships body shop and the day after i picked it up i received another phone call from the same number i ignored it and 5 days later they are still calling. You think they would get a hint, and they call at the worst times right at 8am when im first getting to work and they dont leave a message. Im thinking about making a complaint to the honda dealership i dealt with b/c not only are they calling every other day about me buying a car now this.

I've never given my cell number to anyone and I've been getting calls.  I don't think it has anything to do with dealers.

Went to Toyota dealership in Puente Hills, CA and now getting this message several times daily.  ANNOYEED/PISSED.

I emailed Ford to let them know to remove my name from their calling campaign. I'm assuming the are calling because of my recent web inquiry on the new Lincoln cars.
