I aked for an on-line car quote. A salesman called me from a local (VA) number, but then I got a message from the number with about a 30 seconds of just background noise. I tried to see if I hear anything identifiable, but it was just air.

Got a call asking for someone named "amy". This is a Jersey area code.

I got a call 50 mins after filling out an online quote request from FORD.

got a call this afternoon (about 2:30 central), and i just went to the acura dealership for 10k checkup.  they said maybe they'd do a follow up survey with me, which i swear i specifically requested to be done via email.

I would recommend that you all put your phone numbers on the National Do Not call list and your phone will be registered for five years.  If you do receive a call from a telemarketer you can report their number to the government.

If you visited fordvehicles.com and clicked on "request internet price," you'll be getting calls from this number...a lot of them!

I just got a call from them today and did not answer.
I went to the Mazda dealership for oil change.

Got a call from this number.  The woman mispronounced my name and there were obvious call center noises in the background, so I replied "she's not available."  The woman hung up.  I also have not visited a dealership in well over a year.

I was told that it was a "follow up to a dealership visit" from Nordic imports.  I bought a Volvo (which is owned by Ford).  I told them to quit calling and they still do, I am contacting the Texas Attorney General to have it investigated.

WIll not stop calling.  Has called every day for 3 weeks with no message.

I went to look into a Honda today, and have gotten 4 calls since I got home.

I recently visited my Toyota Dealer to have my Scion repaired. Based on what I'm seeing so far this is probably an evaluation call paid for by Toyota to get feedback on their service.

It's a company that various car dealerships hire to conduct a follow up on your recent visit.  It says so when you call the number back.

Just answer the call and they'll quit calling.

I got two calls today, the Sunday before Memorial Day, from this number. I don't know who it is, and all respectable companies shouldbe closed today, so I didn't pick up. After reading other post I've come to understand a little. I recently had my Toyota Prius serviced at the nearest Toyota dealer near my house.

Two calls. I have been looking at cars, so the car buying link fits. However, they never leave a message and hang on just long enough to trigger the answering machine. I assume it is an auto dialer of some sort. I am on DONOTCALL list. I tried calling back and it said it was an "invalid" number.

Called and did not leave message..Just called Paragon Honda in NY today..sounds like from other posts it could be related.

Just received the 3rd call today from these folks. It is a company out of Georgia that does customer satisfaction calls (Honda, in my case). It is their POLICY not to leave messages. But, since they don't leave messages and call repetitively throughout a holiday weekend, I find this very annoying. I was by the phone this time when they called (after running in from the patio several times to hear them hang up). I told them NEVER to call me for ANY company and that they can tell the Honda dealer it might well have lost them a sale.

My wife, who has been looking at a number of different types of new cars, asked me about this as I also had gotten a GREAT number of calls also. Their last call was at 09:30 AM on Memorial Day.
