That's the same number provided to me for Premier Legal Support services and said the same thing for cash store or something.  He was very rude and threatened me to serve legal papers at my workplace and even  had the nerve to call our HR and ask for my information.  Our HR already suspected that it might not be legit but still relayed the message to me.  They even have a fictitious case#.  The lady who left me a message was Casey Adams which is also the same name in one of the posts.  Upon researching for days now, Premier Legal Support Services is actually a Process Server company meaning they deliver legal documents personally to recipients.  However, Process Servers are NOT supposed to receive any form of payment from the recipients.  The client who hires them are the ones paying them.  I read an article that if a Process Server asked for money, that's immediately a red flag and 100% a scam.

As I replied to Gina Martinez,  that's exactly the same number given to me.  I returned the call and the more I talked to them, intimidating and threatening me, the more I was convinced it was a scam.  I reported them to the authorities and I'm hoping something will be done to stop this scam.  It's horrible having these crooks scaring other people.

This is most likely some sort of debt collectoin scam.

Please read and memorize the following:

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

    1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
    2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
    3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection (Threatening civil proceedings with no intent to follow through, or threatening criminal process in order to collect a civil debt is a  violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.)  The same goes for endless telephone harassment

Note that the US Supreme Court in the Case of HENSON ET AL. v. SANTANDER CONSUMER USA INC., has recently ruled that the provisions of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act do not apply if the creditor owns the debt in question.  As a practical matter this probably won't effect the kinds of scam debt collectors who often show up on 800notes.  The scam collectors don't give you any information about themselves so it is impossible to know whether or not they in fact "own" the debt in question.  Most do not send debt validation letters and many often say they are collecting for someone else.  So, make the complaint anyway if they are bothering you.  Let the FTC sort it out.

Also contact your local attorney general

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.  Tell 'em  no scammy debt collector is going to push you around.

You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking).   the only thing they understand

The “Company” called my mother’s house (where I havent lived in almost 15 years and my father’s cell phone. Said her name was Casey Adams and that I was being sued in civil court and to call her back “URGENTLY”. The number they called from was 888-251-9731. My mom called back and some guy answered “hello”...she then asked who is this and he just said “Michael” she said and where are you and he said legal services. Reverse look up for this company (which they said was Premier Legal Support) came up with nothing legit looking. Once reverse phone search showed and animal shelter.  SCAM SCAM
SCAM is flashing in my mind.  They seriously need to stop calling and Fu****g with my FAMILY! Never once have they called me at the number I’ve had for over 15 years.!!!

Calling your family is all part of the scam.  I would suggest that you read both the following and CWG40's posts:

One of the tricks they use is to call your family, friends, neighbors and/or places of employment (past or present or both) to create panic and embarrassment so that their intended victim calls them and they can scare that person into paying their extortion money.  They often call people that have never even been associated with you because they get erroneous information off of the internet.

Glad to see these reports of this SCAM..I received a call identified on my cell phone as “No caller ID” & received a message from Linda @ Premier Legal Support Services stating my name & SS# was attached to a civil matter & I needed to call 1-888-241-9631 w/ case #.  Then I received a call from the HR dept of my employer stating they rec’d a call about a summons & garnishment of my wages.  I called & spoke to Serena which informed me that they are seeking $13k from an account that has been closed but will settle for $3,500 in 2 or more payments.  She stated that they would need a debit card # to secure the agreement. Wow, I just wonder how many fall for these scare tactics & pay $ they don’t owe.

I received a call today from my human resources department telling me that a guy called "Mike Davis" was demanding to know my home address, of course she will never provide personal information to callers without permission, he left a message for me telling that if I don't call back they will garnish my wedges.
I called the number and this guy Mike told me that he has two complaints for me on for 6K+ and other for 4K+ that of course don't recognize and that the person was on their way to serve me at work, I told him that I don't owe that and that he had the wrong person, he asked me then to verify my address and he gave me a total unknown address that of course didn't confirm. Then he told me that if I pay $2,500 he will settle the debt and avoid me humiliation and jail time!  He only knew my name and of course place of work but how come if they already sent the person to serve me papers to face a judge he was trying to get money from me?! Is totally outrageous!
