This fake number called my business. I repeated the name of my business several times; I could hear boiler room static. Finally, a guy said he had the wrong number.

No message  Was old toll free 411 number. BLOCKED

9:32 am June 15. Hopefully blocked by my blocking service.

They leave messages threatening anyone who answers to tell them the where abouts of this person??  Never say a name of the person??

I received a call from this number stating that they were looking for me because a formal complaint had been filed against me. They wanted me to call a 1-866 number in order to give them any information I had so they could file a case with the county courthouse. I called back the 1-888-555-1212 number to get verification about their call and the number wouldn't connect to anyone.

i got a call from 888-555-1212,saying they are looking for a person and if you are that person press i to be contact.it is a law firm from houston,texas called greenview and associates are g.v.a. calling to say they are about to file on me for a debt back in march 2008.i have contacted a lawyer that deals with people like this and waiting on what they tell me they can do for me.

Just got a spam/scam fax from this number - offering to sell me a "business contact list" for some sum of money... I have 72 hours to respond... HAH. Blocked. Spoofed caller ID more than likely.

Scam debt collector.  They use cloned numbers to call you, then try to have you call another number.  Best to report them to the FCC, or ignore them at the very least.  If you do talk to them, make it very clear that you do not agree to any offer they present and do not give them any personal information-- a legitimate debt collector will already have that information, including your address.
