I did some research and found out that there are marketing/recruiting companies that search for phone numbers in monster.com and careerbuilder.com -Then they share your number/name with other companies who are generically recruiting for home businesses and cheesy do-it-yourself insurance branches which always requires you to take out hefty loans from their own franchised lenders. I'm pissed that I get so many calls that are for Jobs not even related to my field. i am now removing my telephone number from the Internet because it wastes more time than anything.

Just got the recorded message from 972-200-9825 to call 1-888-673-4109 since I have the job qualification of owning a phone.  I think the woman on the recording is married to the guy who says "You've got Mail!". Immediately Googled the phone number and not surprised its another bs scam.  I wonder how long this one will continue for. My good friends at ARL and Portfolio Recovery still call occassionally to see if I'll pay the debts by some who had my current phone#. Once the current job hunt is over, I'll have my number changed and be unlisted.  Not looking forward to nuking all the profiles on the job boards.
