5:55pm EST I got an automated call from 973-200-9825 saying they received my resume and wanted to schedule an interview. No name, no business but gave me 888-673-4109 to call. Around 6:30pm EST I called and got an automated operator saying they were experiancing a high call volume and needed a zip code to connect me to the business closest to me. So I input my zip code and was told I was being connected to some business at 287 Independence Blvd in Virginia Beach. I was connected and the phone just rang, no answer.

From what I can gather, the 973 number is from Seagoville, Texas. The 888 number is connected to websites trying to sell cars.

The address I received is to an office building with multiple businesses ranging from nutrition to acupuncture to a personnel staffing service or two. I figured I would try to at least get a local number of the annonymous business that was trying to contact me but I don't know what suite or business it is to even bother calling.

Rec'd call from unidentified number on my cell phone.  Caller ID on cell phone just said "Incoming Call."  A message was left telling me to call 888-673-4109 to set up a job interview--no person or business name.  My experience with these calls has been either a cattle call for insurance sales, or money laundering schemes.  I deleted the message, and reported the number to my cell phone carrier.

I got this call about 2 hours ago- from the 200-9825... excited about it i googled it.. yep.. its from texas.  they left the same 888-673-4109. Ironically, I recently received an EMAIL from Liberty Insurance saying they reviewed my resume and they would like to schedule an interview. My resume is only one place on the internet... Monster.com I got the email right after I made my resume PUBLIC... must be a third party... or something... ARRrrgghh.. I just want a JOB...preferably a career! This makes me want to take my resume off 'PUBLIC' now... and makes me not want to use monster anymore..

It's funny that I received this message, too.  I have not applied for a job in four years.  I have been in my current role for the last 5 years, so I am not sure why these people called me.  I, too called the number two times just to type in different area codes in the local area, and received two different locations.....SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!  The government should really crack down on SCAMS like this in such a horrible economy while people are desperately searching for work.....

I've recieved this call twice now. It always comes at 6:15pm est on Tuesdays and is always restricted. I figure monster and carrerebuilder both are at fault for not checking to make sure that LEGITIMATE businesses are using their websites and that's how they have my information. Be careful where you post your information. The Internet will only get worse with scams such as these, especially these days.

Same experience as everyone else - Caller ID was 972-200-9825 leaving a message for a job interview - I am looking for work (who isn't in these times), and have several resumes out, but automated call? No company name? No person name? What job position? Bunch of BULL - shows how desparate folks are to screw a fellow human being, just pitiful!

Received the same call today at 5:56pm, I live in NC.  If I don't recognize the number I never answer the phone.  Left message for me to call the 888 number called once and entered my address and it was for an office that is too far for me to travel so I called again and entered a closer city that I would travel and still sent me to the same office. They said I could leave a message which I didn't and decided to Google the number to see where this place was located.  Glad I didn't leave my contact information.

1-18/2010 I just got a voice mail on my cell to call 888-673-4109 at 6:54pm.  Thought it was a little odd to get a call about my resume at that hour but thanks to everyone else posting here I know not to respond to a scam.  Being out of work is bad enough without scammers trying to get your personal information.

Received phone call from 1.972.200.9825, Seagoville, Tx and did not answer call. They left message stating my resume fitted the person they were looking for the this position and wanted to set up an interview. I decided to GOOGLE them only b/c they left no name and also I have been recieving a lot of emails that seem to be scams when concerning jobs.

Call received at 6:33 p.m. It was nothing more than a voice recording saying they received "your" resume and thought I should schedule an interview this week, and gave the number 888-673-4109. They did not use a name for whom they were trying to reach nor say what their company was. I immediately wondered how legit it was. Glad I googled the number before I bothered to get my hopes up. JERKS. I too would love to find a job, and don't have time for garbage like this.

Same call about seeing my resume online. Told to call the number. Asked my zip code and directed me to the local office (gave address for it). Called but got "high volume of calls" and was asked to leave my name and telephone number for a return call. Still no mention of company, job type, or online resume source.

Received a call yesterday at 6:40 PM CST from the Seagovill, TX phone number (972)200-9825 while I was out of the house. The voice mail that was left stated that they had received my resume and felt that I matched with a position in their company. The message went on to request that I call 1-888-673-4109 to schedule an interview.

Funny thing is I don't have any resumes out right now anywhere, nothing other than those that have been sent directly to a recipient either via direct email or in person. To boot my number is unlisted and on the national do not call registry, so this seems quite curious.

I did find that there is a website for the town of Seagoville, TX. It has the number for the police department on it and I would just about bet that their police department would like to know that one of their citizens is using an automated dialing system to make these phone calls all over the country, and that they are apparently for a fraudulent purpose.

No self respecting business would use an automated dialer to ask applicants to schedule an interview. They might send out a mass email, or use some time to actually call up the prospective employees, but not one I have ever seen uses an automated dialer and a recorded message for this purpose.

Unfortunately for the person owning this number my voice mail is also sent to my email address in .wav format so I do have a digital recording of the call. In addition since my number is a VOIP line I have a call record that shows the call was made at 6:40 PM my time and identifies it as a Seagoville number. Needless to say I will be calling the law in the area to check into it and providing a copy of this recording and call log to them.

For future reference you can find the official website of Seagoville, TX at http://www.seagoville.us/

You can find the number for the Seagoville, TX police there or simply call them at 972-287-2999
