- MeThey just called my pay-per-use cell phone. An automated call by Ekos Research. I'll just deduct an expense from my next tax return such that my tax will be reduced by the cost of the call. Until our government fixes the joke of a privacy system, they can at least cover the costs of the abuses.

- SomoneIt's an automated survey. Just press 1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2 and screw the stats. There should be an unsubscribe number, but there isn't. Just make crap up.

- Mary replies to Getting Off A List! ("GOAL")Thank the Universe for ******, I see EKSOS and I smile and smile b/c I can see their number on the screen. We have all learned creative curse words for these harassing calls. Ignore them and become a non-consumer
- B-BobThey have been consistently calling my cell phone (but I keep missing the calls!). No message has been left so I don't know what they want. I'd like to be able to block these calls.

- EmI am sick to death of these a--holes!!
Government or not! I don't need them
bothering me and I will NOT answer
their calls nor will I vote for them !!!! - yukon replies to 1886880709funny! they called me at 7:38 p.m. last night.
- yukon replies to Debt Collector/Skip Tracer'Only deadbeats are paranoid about phone calls' - ? You are an ignorant goof. Some of us just do not want to be bothered by who make money by asking us questions or trying to defraud us via telephone in our private homes. However, I will give you credit for letting people know about ekos and gallup. I actually do tolerate them because I do like to read polls so do not mind participating in them. Just be more careful about who you call a 'deadbeat'. Just because you surround yourself in these people through your work does not mean the whole world are deadbeats. Lift your head out of the sewer once in a while and take a look around. 95% of people are honest and pay their bills. However, probably 60% or more are concerned about who is contacting them and what they are doing with the information, and whether they are being scammed, when they are called by unknown parties, including those 'doing research'.

- Anonym replies to simon| 3 repliesHello,
Indeed, they're Ekos. And seem to do robocalls for their customers. They've been calling my cellphone for a few months now for Primerica Canada, regarding a supposedly pending insurance review, which of course is totally fake/crap. A reason for the naive ones to call back their 800.371.5931 number and try to sell you the said insurance...
I'm sure they took my number from the No-Call-List, since I never did business with them, nor is it a poll or a census... So the list is a peace of #2, if you ask me.
So I added their number to my cellphone contacts, and directed Android to push it directly to the voicemail. I at least don't have to be bugged by the ringing (yet I still need to erase the st..id message from the box... ah well).
Just needed to vent it away. Life throws a rock at you, dodge it and smile back!
My 2 cents ;) - Anonym replies to Anonym| 1 reply... Oh, and by the way, I dodged them by reading 800notes (kudos!) and googling the info they left on the voicemail.
I never answer a number I don't recognize!
;) - MerrikateOh great -- a call from these punks on my unlisted, unknown to anyone but family, cell! Good grief -- they must be successful, since complaints on this site date back 6 years.
