- Bruno| 1 replyReceived a call from the 8886902848, let it go to voice mail. Recording stated it was card member services from USBank. I called the 1800USBANKS number, to check with them, It is their number. No fraud here. They need some of your info to pull up the account. When I used the 1800USBANKS number, I verify through the phone, no info needed to give them. Call the other number, they need to know who is calling them.

- J.R. replies to BradThanks for your message. I have been hounded by this No. 4 to 5 times a day have the No. blocked so all I get is a beep to let me know they called. Thanks again and God Bless.
- C.L.They called me 3 times today. I searched and found this site. So after their third vm, I called back. Sure enough, they claimed to be U.S. Bank customer service and immediately asked for my card number. I rattled off about 25 random numbers. She asked me to repeat it, and I made up another completely random set and just kept going until she interrupted and said that wasn't a valid number. So I asked HER to tell me my card number. She said she couldn't without verifying who I was. I said I wasn't giving it out until I verified who SHE was. She asked for my name, and I made up a male name (I'm female!) She started getting mad, and I told her I knew she wasn't with U.S. Bank because I'd already checked with them, and there are multiple websites warning of their scam. She kept saying she needed to verify my identity! I told her I know who I am and gave her a few choice words. She threatened to "disconnect the call." Told her I'd beat her to the punch and would be reporting their scam and hung up. Called again just for fun and got a different "customer service agent." This one asked for my phone number. Told her she should know it since they had called me and asked why she didn't immediately ask for my card number like the last one I'd talked to. She said "have a good night" and hung up. Checked U.S. Bank website, and of course there were NO 888 numbers listed. Sorry for the long post, but it was really pretty fun to call them out on it! Blocked the number, so I guess that's that!
- Caller: allegedly U.S. Bank
- BobHad several calls from this number and let them go to VM.
They finally left a message to call ASAP.
Today I received a letter from them claiming that I owe 230.80.
I am turning this over to the Attorney Generals office and the Postal Service.
I am confident they will turn the heat up for fraud.- Caller: Elan Financial Services
- Call type: Debt collector
- PointyReceived voice mail at work stating this was U S Bank indicating problem with credit card account. I called and gave my phone number for them to "bring up my record". I was then asked for my account number and I then asked what company this was. They wouldn't tell me and would not provide any other information. They then said I'd need to wait until they called again and hung up. I called U S Bank and they did not make the call. I called back and someone else said the name of this company is Credit Card Services in St. Louis. Would not give any other information. What are they doing?
- Caller: Credit Card Services
- ScottReceived two calls from this number on my work #. First time they didn't leave a message. Second time they left a message but named another employee that the message was for - our #s are nothing alike.
- Caller: Claimed to be US Bank
- Maddie S.Rec'd vm to call Elan Financial. Since I had just spoken to Elan the previous night regarding my credit card, I immediately thought it was related to this, so I called them back. I refused to give my card # and SSN, but did give out more info than I would have liked before I believed it was a scam. The lady was quite convincing. After she hung up frustrated with my unwillingness to "verify" my information, I called the # on my card and they verified that there were no problems with my account and they were NOT trying to reach me. Be careful! Both the vm and the lady on the phone were very professional and convincing. Luckily I didn't give in.
- Caller: Elan Financial

- 2beaglemamaReceived two calls today. This is a legit number associated with USBank financial services. I'd missed a couple payments and they were just calling to bring my account up to date. No fraud here, and frankly I appreciated the reminder.

- NateAutomated system called me, claiming to be US Bank. The automated system then began to ask for personal identification information. I hung up and called the number back. Spoke to a woman also asking such information. She claimed to pull up information on my account via the number I called into her with, then asked me to verify my name. I did that, then she wanted further information. I told her to do that she would need to tell me something about my account, which she refused. I hung up, called US Bank via the number on the card, talked to a representative of their fraud team who verified this is NOT a US Bank number. Do not give any information to this number!
- MaureenCalled 2 days in a row. I had read the comments in here and wanted to call back to see what they would say. I only gave them my phone number (seeing as they already know it) and she still wouldn't give me any information. I might have swore at her and called it a scam and she hung up on me. Called US Bank, because according to these comments they were claiming to be from there (and I do not have any sort of account with them), and the lady from US Bank confirmed that it was not their number and sounded like a phishing scam.
- Caller: Phishing Scam
- Taylor KThis number has called me numerous times and they finally left a message. It was an automated message saying it was from Eblon Financail and to call them back. I have no clue who this is but im reporting it! Hope this helps anyone else who is bothered by this stupid call!
- Caller: Eblon Financial
- VanessaCalled and said he was with US bank and jumped right into asking for personal information and couldn't give me any information until I gave him my SSN. That's when I knew it had to be a scam
- Caller: US Bank
- JAI got the after-hours vm at my work phone number, which was odd. The automated message said it was US Bank calling. But Googling this number showed all the posts, so I know it's a fraud. Will try to report to US Bank.
- Caller: "US Bank"
- Nick DThey left me a message at work, Stated they were US Bank and I needed to call back for an important message. I read these complaints prior but decided to call them anyway to investigate on my own. They answered "card member services, what is your account number?" I said, "which bank is this?" she said "well I wouldn't really know until you give me your account number" I said "how are you going to know what bank you are if I give you my account number?" then she said "I can look up your account based on your phone number, what is your phone number?" I said, "don't you have my phone number? you called me?" she said, "I need to verify your information in order to let you know what we are calling about." I said "I'm good, have a good day" and hung up.
- Caller: Claimed to be US Bank
- Asked to call this numberI also have gotten several automated messages (which include my name) claiming to be from US Bank at my work number (which I never give out for banks or credit cards) asking me to call back at this number. I called US Bank via the # of the back of my card, and they said they did not have any messages for me. I Googled the number and got directed here, so just more confirmation this is a scam.
