Returned call said US Bank gave me last four bank number,I believed it legit Until all of a sudden I asked for persons name, they hung up. Now I'm worried how did they know bank number? And now know the rest too. What do I do?

Received a call claiming it was card member services from US Bank. I'm very familiar with my bank procedures so just called my branch to confirm it was a scam?and they told me that I was correct. Scammer. Be aware!

Before I ever respond to a call like this I paste the number in Google search and most of the time it gives me a site like this one where people’s comments pretty much say SCAM. I have blocked this number.

They called; the recordinsaid they were with Elon Financial Services calling about an important business matter. I have NO business with this caller.

Elan Financial.  They handle credit cards that are issued for other parties such as Credit Unions.

I also just received a call on my from 1-888-690-2848. The automated 'lady' said my name and US bank. Thank you for these posts. I will call the REAL US Bank and submit this number.

So you stopped by to brag to us that you are a known deadbeat who doesn't pay your bills?  Yeah, I think that would be the correct label for you as well as being a lying, scumbag, dirt bag, scamming idiot.  You see, no one looks a number up when they know who called and why.  There simply is no reason to do that.  Now scammers on the other hand take the time to make posts like yours to try to convince people that the call is legitimate.  You have miserably failed in that effort, just as you have failed at everything else in your life.

Got a call today at work for a colleague who is no longer here. It was an automated message saying it was Bank of America Cardmember services and wanted my colleague to call back. I contacted her and she doesn't even have a Bank of America card.

Left a message on the smartphone saying my Amazon account was charged $750. Please press one to cancel the order.

Just got same call

Answered a call from this number to the office I'm a gatekeeper for. After a moment, a recording came on stating it was US Bank Cardmember Service with a message for *employee name* & requesting a call back @ this #. I would think if this actually WAS US Bank calling, a search of the # would bring them up but it doesn't.

been calling for the past couple of days. no message left. looked up number. 800 notes was 5th or so down and well... nevertheless, blocked
