Actually folks  888-690-2848 is a legit US Bank phone number.  I got the same call and was confident it was a scam because I knew that I made my credit card payment.  I called the phone number on the back of my card  and they verified that my payment did not post and that they had reached out to me by phone to make the payment.  The amount that was due was exactly what was quoted by the automated call from 888-690-2848

Just received a call from this #.  I did try to answer, but a bad connection and I hung up.  Immediately checked on this website and will add this # to my blocked list, based on the comments here.  Thanks everyone!

Can't believe they are still trying this scam.  My phone ID'd it as US Bank, but the voicemail stated Elon Financial.  I don't have accounts at either!

I just got a call from this number for Elon Financial. It was a recording and left as a voicemail. Not quite sure if it's a debt collector but all my bills are paid. This is the third "odd ball" number that has called me in the last few months. Is there a way to block these numbers? Like what is the deal?

Smart! NEVER give an unsolicited caller personal information of any sort or call them back at a number they give. Instead, call a known number for them such as the one on the back or your card or statement. Scammers spoof legitimate numbers all the time so even if your CID says US Bank there's no guarantee it's actually US Bank calling. Better safe than sorry.

Call went to voicemail and automated voice said that they were with a bank but the name was garbled, I called my company to see if they tried calling and found out they did not. I looked up the number and seems it's linked to a scam.

I also got message, twice, to call USBank urgently. They have my full name, included in message.
I don't have account or any of my credit cards associated with USBank- so I ignored both messages.

Elan handles cards for lots of different places not just US Bank. Many Credit Unions use them as well as other branded cards. You will need to find out why they are calling and then handle it by sending them the appropriate letter, preferably by certified, return receipt mail.
