You guys it's a scam I don't even have students loans ignore u guys especially if they are texting instead of calling who texts when u owe them money well at least businesses don't lol

I do not have student loans, as I never went to college. They said I did, but could help me pay them off . LOL          BIG SCAM.

I followed the advise of replying back and saying "STOP IMMEDIATELY" and was told "You have discontinued from EzTexting alerts. You will no longer recieve messages or charges for this service. Questions www.eztexting.com"

I received the same message "with my name, you have been RED FLAGGED for 1 of 7 programs through the Department of Education.  Call 888-732-9286 to speak to a student loan advisor." so I looked the # up on Google and found all of this.  One other thing I did was reply to the text with STOP IMMEDIATELY....I then got a reply from them that said "You have discontinued from EzTexting Alerts. You will no longer receive messages or charges for this service. Questions www.extexting.com."   This further proves this is a SCAM!!! Also I don't have no student loan crazy people looking for money just a scam!!!!

I feel like an idiot. I just got this same text and I stupidly called them and thought they were with the The Dept of Education.I just received something in the mail and I once again, STUPIDLY thought they were connected. I gave them my social and date of birth and I have never done this before. Should I be worried?

I got the same text yesterday.  "Willie, you have been RED FLAGGED for 1 of 7 programs through the Department of Education. Call now 888-732-9286 to speak to a student loan advisor."  My student loan was paid off over 10 years ago..

called the number and the guy asked if I was interested in 7 different ways to payoff student loan.  once I said yes he started asking me personal information questions.  I stopped him and asked for his website where I can review the 7 options and get back to him.  Turns out he gave me a bogus website address.

I got this same message twice today, funny thing I don't have any student loans.  My daughter does but it has been deferred because she is still in school. What do we do about this?

Received the same text . I called and asked why I was getting this text and she said "oh do you have a student loan? I replied "no, I am 61 years old! She then asked if I have ever had a student loan and I said NO. She then told me to reply stop...Geesh!!!!

I just now got.it.and i called. Not helping,he said.has to b 10,000 or more!

I just received text from this number saying i have been red flagged for a payment reduction and student load forgiveness with the dept of education. i have never taken out a student load and from other comments this is a scam. i never called the number.

I just got a text from 313131 asking me to call 888-732-9286 to speak to a Student Advisor.  It said that I was red flagged for a payment reduction and student loan forgiveness with Dept. of Education.  A guy answered with just his name so I asked him who did he work for and he said the US Dept. of Education.  I asked him for his employee ID and he hung up the phone.  The scam is still active!
