your wrong about the statute of limitations on written contracts refer back to the fdcpa some states are 10 years ex ohio- illinois -wisconsin others are 6 and 7 and some are 15

The person called was threatening nad had to do with my Grandson.  I have no involvement with him and live alone.  I do not know how they have my phone number.

ccf calls my house asking for someone that does not live here dont no how they got my number how can i stop this?

If your "debt" is out of the statue of limitations in your state, you do not owe anybody anything.  Don't give your money to these scheisters!

they are now calling from the St Louis area: 314-480-5343 almost daily for someone that does not exist at my number.

they are NOT a litigation firm at all... they are just   BILL COLLECTORS!!!!!!! i think someone who works there posted this... they are not a legal firm.... pre-legal firm... litigation... nothing... cal any extention and they will state they are in some legal department...but they are not any of these....  its a collection agency

actually if you dont pay your debt you get a note in the mail sending you to court.
then u pay 5x the amount that the loan actually was for.

umm... all of you guys are idiots. i work for them and i dont live in a trailer. we prolly make more money than you.

i actually work for mrs. washington and shes a wonderfull women, and when shes on the phone and her vms full or shes not there thats what it says. she prolly dsnt check her messages.

this company isnt a scam. and i know mrs. howard very well. and you cant use money grams becuase they dont do anything threw the mail. theres too many risks.

i work for this company and the number u just listed is actually the number i tell people to call back on messages. if its a wrong number call the number back hit 1 which will transfer you to the whole office so someone will answetr your call. and tell that person very nicely that you dont know that person and wish to not have anymore calls. and they will ask you your number give it to them and they will take it out and tell you it will take a week to get out of the dialer which it does and it will be removed. and any calls you get with in that week just DISREGARD. and they stress that.

Ummm, you still owe it.....you just can not be sued over it.  

So mr. smarty pants, if i borrowed 20,000 dollars from you today, and did not see you or repay you for 7 years and then bumped into you would say I do not owe it anymore?? really!?

They are full of it! They have called me twice and each time they claim I owe them $500 for a bad check that was written 10 years ago. There is a thing called statute of limitations; although I owe nothing. Same happened to me, some guy claim that they are starting the litigation process and that I am a person of interest.  Well I say, start the litigation process if you will! A check for $500 is a felony offense and would have brought on litigation issues long before now (if it was accurate).

Been getting calls like this for several weeks, leaving a message that it's either "person of interest" or regarding "pending legal action" but wouldn't specify. I always ignored them, as it sounded like some scam from a few years back. Looks like it's still the same crap.

A couple of days ago they called and wanted to verify some info. I declined to confirm it other than name (some of it was incorrect anyhow). Googled this today and found pretty much what I expected.
