Agent, Curtis Gould at extension # 2449 is attempting to collect on one of my TD Canada Trust accounts.

I was called through relative, told to call 18887977727 x-2449 curtis gould,metropolitan. Do not know why and skeptical to leave a number for him to reach me, is this fraud? How did he assume the number he called was associated?

Agent, Curtis at extension # 2449.  Did not say what he wanted or what company he was calling on behalf of.

Simple answer sam. This collection agency is trying to contact your relatives either because they can't find a # for you or their trying to piss u off so they can get u to call in. The relative they have called is either information they have from prior notes or just calling a few possible relatives hoping they can track you. If your name is not common they will call a few possible relatives hoping to get any information they can.

I got a recorded message saying that I should call that number back...I don't intend to as they said they were looking for and then there was a blank where someone said something in slurred speech...way too weird

Some man who is very rude, evasive and who will not state any type of buisness is calling from this number.  I called all my crediters and no one from their offices are trying to call me... be careful...

I got calls from them to.  They are malicious, game playing f@#$%ers.  They have to send you something in the mail before you have to pay them anything.  Find out your rights before you do anything.  There hole things is to play games.  Call you.  Harass you.  Have 100 different agents call you.  All just to get the money from you.  The people I talked to wouldn't accept payments.  They would call me and demand full payment.  They are not supposed to do that.  Don't let them get to you.  These people that do this job must be miserable and unhappy.  Not to mention manipulators and liars outside of the job.

I got a phone call from the funeral director at the funeral home where we had my father's service. A lady was trying to devolge information from the funeral director to collect a debt that was already written off. The man is six feet under and they are still trying to dig him up.  They also called me 6 months prior to this incident and asked to speak to my father, I explained he's been deceased for 2 years.  The man said no he's not I spoke to him 3 days ago. So I said........You Sick F@$K, what kind of person are you, do you actually live with yourself everyday or can you?..and I slammed the phone down.  Nice people...Iguess everybody has to earn a living somehow, not me I wouldnt in my lifetime ever think of earning money the evil way!  Good Luck to all, and just remember your credit issues get written off sold off to other credit collection companies, So don't be folled or sweat it, what are they going to do to you, are the Credit Police coming to get you and put you in the Credit Penitentiary..........ASS$#%#S!

Care to bet your career on that?  You should ramp up on the Statute of Limitations.  In some provinces, in as early as two years debts can be deemed uncollectible.

Another fine presentation by a peon who claims to be representing the Metropolitan Credit firm.  If the above msg is legitimate, then the people Metropolitan is hounding have little to fear.  We've just seen his/her demonstration of:  An over-inflated ego; The inability to present a debate beyond a grade 2 level; and, The ability to assume full-comprehension of another person's financial affairs, BEFORE conducting thorough due diligence.

When facing off against someone armed with these highly-valued skills, debtors can comfortably sit back and enjoy the entertainment..

I received voicemail earlier today from an ANONYMOUS number and someone named Miranda was looking for a "Crystal." I have no idea who that is, and Miranda said that if she had reached this number in error to please call her back at 888 797 7727, ext. 2444. Well I did, and received a recorded message saying that this call requires additional long distance changes, courtesy of All Stream.

Needless to say I did not proceed with the call. I've never gotten that kind of message before. I have unlimited free long distance with my phone company and to me that just sounds shady.

Called out of the blue to threaten me about an account I had paid in full years ago, on a card I had canceled immediately after the payment.
Good thing I did it through my bank and they kept all the records. Don't take anything they say at face value, and I wonder how they get any of the information that they managed to get right....?

A lady called my workplace saying she had done a credit check on me and I must pay my student loan in full or else she will be starting legal actions against me to garnish my pay cheque.
