They are group of excessively rude, arrogant, disrespectful, pushy, harassing bunch of [***] who refuse to accept that I am not the person they're looking. This phone number belongs to me and no one else.

I've had problems with identity theft before and I know I have no outstanding debts. I do not owe any money to anybody. I have lived 20-plus years without a credit card or debt and feel it's extremely unfair to be continually harassed by this company.

I have complained to the Better Business Bureau.

For more than 6 months I have it calls for  3 different people. I have days that I wonder if it's just a scam and the company's looking to see if someone will pay out money that they don't owe.

The government or police should step in and shut these guys down. Because one day some poor sap is going to pay for something that they don't owe and these [***] will make a way with money they don't deserve and that is not owed to them.

Stop harassing people who don't owe money.
If a person tells you you've got the wrong number and ask you to take their number off your list you should respect their answers, otherwise it's just harassment.

Why doesn't everyone just pay there bills ?  Tough question.  Maybe they can't you moron!!  You say the economy will go down ? That's why u call ? Nooooo because u get paid ! Bottom line.  U don't give a sh t. About economy. You want your commission !

I know that this post is very old, however this number repeatedly calls my phone daily. Apparently your company does not understand that cell phone numbers have a very HIGH turnover rate, much like your company. The person you are calling for is NOT reachable at my number, and NO, I do NOT know her. You creditors are breaching the legality of harassment and I think once you are told that you have the wrong number - you should remove it and deal with your collecting of ridiculous debts another way.
There is, in fact, a statute of limitation on how long a debt can remain with a collection agency, so while the debt does not go away, eventually - YOU DO!
I must say though, if you are the voice of or even speaking on behalf of your company, you should really educate yourself in the English language and it's proper grammar in it's entirety as you look very unprofessional and stupid. If you were an employee of mine, I would be mortified.

I too get called daily from this number. I will never answer and will block it and I suggest everyone does if this phone number calls them. Do not answer them. Please learn about what do to about these calls!

She called me saying I have a debt with Rogers. Asked for my phone number associated with the account. My home phone number I gave because that's the one she was calling on - But my home number is with  Cogeco. She was verifying my DOB - I refused to give my year of birth until she verified why she was calling... "I'm not willing to loose my job because you won't pay your bills. So go have a nice day" was her reply. I hit *57 after I hung up. These people are not legit bill collectors.

this is a collection agency, there are rules but they don`t follow them, Change your # to a prepaid phone and don`t enter it any where on the web or any contact form that is how they get the #

In Canada, when you die, your estate is also responsible for your debts however they can also go after spouses/children in certain cases.

If you can confirm (i.e. provide notarized proof under Canadian law) that the person they are calling about is not you, or the debt they are calling about is not yours (or paid off), you can contact your local Better Business Bureau to have the matter investigated and closed

If it is a debt collector then it must not be a "safe" number as they only hire convicted felons to work there.

They're calling me about a Rogers Wireless bill..  I called Rogers..   they said I haven't had an account with them in 8 years and to just block them.  Girl above..  trust me..  this crap does not go on your credit report..  lol

They can only go after spouses/children if they (spouses and/or children) co-signed on loans, otherwise, no.

Oh so it is legit to call peoples ex-husband's family members and claim to be a processor from the court making threats about if you don't have her call today and pay I will show up tomorrow and serve her at her work. Hey, I work for the courts. That's not how that really works. So give it a break. It's funny how my identity was stolen and every few years they try to scam my bank, get caught, and these calls start again isn't it?

Have received a call from this number and numerous other unfamiliar numbers all with automated audio claiming to be Metcredit with an important business call for a "Melissa". My name isn't Melissa nor is my last name even close to the last name mentioned in the call. I block the numbers every time but will always just be called by a new number. This has been going on for 6 months, first asking for a "Lee", now asking for "Melissa" how can I make it stop??
