I have recieved calls from this company and also my mother has recieved calls.  

Ms. Smith said that she had my file in her office as part of an ongoing investigation of possible fraud.  And failure to contact her would result them seeking my appearance.  Called my mother and told her I was being investigated for fraud and that I needed to contact their office.  

I contacted Ms. Smith and was told I had taken a payday loan out in February of 2008 and that the payment was returned.  Good thing I keep my emails...I found a rejection letter from the loan company in question.  When I told Ms. Smith that I had the letter she immediatly gave me to the "legal" department where I spoke to a Cindy who asked that I fax her the letter.  

Wow trying to collect on money people don't even owe....What will they think of next.

These people called and made it sound like they were calling from the court system. Shame on all of you who work in such a place!

These folks are calling family members stating that they are conducting an investigation. I am sure this is a scam to collect personal information.

This number calls it is a scam but the information this company has lets me know that someone is selling my information which is against the law.  For them to have this information I would say where I bought my car gave out my information.  This needs to stop someone needs to shut this place down

this company called my sister's house requesting my information. i contacted them. they'd put me through to some legal person who told me i owed  667 dollars. i asked them who the original creditor was. they told me it was some payday loan company. i explained to her that the debt was not mine. she began asking very personal questions such as who i bank with where i live, what my income was. i refused to disclose this kind of information. she then said they could settle out for 400 dollars. again, i told her that the debt was not mine. the woman said that if i did not come with these funds, they would get in contact with a process server from my area. she then asked me if i had an attorney. i told her yes and that i would contact my legal services. further, i let this person know that she could in fact contact a process server for my area because the debt is not mine. and secondly, i don't have money to freely give. she said in a snappy tone, "good luck finding an attorney." after that, she quickly hung up. i haven't heard anything from them since that call.

I have received phone calls from this number stating that I owe for a payday that I never received. They have told me that they will take this to court if they have to and that it would be in my best interest to settle this with them.

received a phone call from this company today.  said i was involved in a fraud investigation and that i needed to settle this before i was summons to court.  i didn't even call them back or respond as i searched the number before calling them.  sounds like they are scaring people into giving personal information.

I got a call from this # today and my mom got a call today as well.  Saying they are from my county and it's regarding fraud.  Thank goodness I googled the # to find out the info.  I also called the # back and the person I spoke with said she's a "secretary" and doesnt have any info.  Someone needs to shut these people down!!

Shame on please like you who always cry victim when you're the cause of the situation!  Shame on you all!  If you were financial responsible you would have people/agencies (debt collectors, IRS, government agencies) looking for you.  Be responsible with your finances!

i dont mean to be rude, but who give you the right to jugde anyone before you know them. My husband and are financial responsible witj what we pay out and what comes in.  But i have actully got a call for my self and my husband about 2 payday loans that we never recieved so what do you say about that. People are not alway perfect, yes there are people who need money evrything. do you help your friend and family out when they need help. or do you to tell them to BAD. You need better financial responsible.

I received a phone call from this number on my voice mail. They made it seem like some type of court action. The caller left her name, company name and a case number, also added at the end of the call, "YOU HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED". The real sad part about all this is that my & my husband's niece' name are very similar, (her's being Tami and mine, Tania), they kept saying her name instead of mine, on a house phone that is listed in MY name. However I did call the number back, the machine answering had a totally different name than the one that called me and no one could take my call. Every time I entered the extension that was left on my voice mail it kept taking me back to the main answering message that also stated "if you are an attorney, please press 1.", however, no one would answer there either. I will try again due to believing this is a scam and seeing this a lot due to working at the Sheriff's Office in my county. The really sad thing is, there isn't a lot anyone can do other than block the number.

It doesn't matter if you are financially responsible or not. People buy others information from everywhere. It is so easy anymore to get peoples information. Shame on the people for lying about who they are and what they are doing.

Collectors can be scumbags, however, don't give them a reason to call you; pay your bills.  Give to Ceasar what is Ceasar's.

A man with an intimidating voice called. Said he was from "Legal Services."  Scary.  And he had a summons he wanted to serve me at my home or employment however, he would give me 48 hours to contact him and take care of the summons before he delivered it.  He gave me his name and a case #- he also called my son trying to find me.  

Thanks for all the info here . . . I'll call him tomorrow and and tell him to drop off the papers (which I'm sure there are none) or I'll get his info.

These people have contacted me under so many numbers now. They have cantacted some family members too. Do NOT give them any type of infomation! It is a frud and a fake and when told we know they are tring to do this to us they hang right up. When asked if we can get thier information they ask why we need it. Well, don't share yours I am hell bond on not sharing mine! People on these things that put "nice" things or "stand up" for this people are the people themsevles.
Here is what to do: call Federal complaints and file one. go to www.IC3.gov and file a complaint there or the number is 877-382-4357 and call Tras Union 800-680-7289 and tell them to put a debt scam noitice on your SS#. Seems like alot but it has to be done! Protect yourself and DO NOT give out ANY information.  Hope I have helped you out!!!! Have a great day!

These people suck

I also recieved a call from these people on my home phone then they also called my duaghter in laws cell phone. I dont even know her cell phone i have it under speed dial.They also said that i was beeing investagated for fraud and condsider my self notified first of all i dont think you can be legally notified on voicemail and i cant figure out how the scam artist would have my daughter in laws cell #.

My sister and her husband received this call today.  The company contacted his mother and left a message that they would be arrested if they did not give them their bank account information to do an automatic withdrawl.  TOTAL FRAUD! The same story as the rest that in 2008 they took out a payday advance loan.  They refused to send anything by mail to verify the debt.

I keep receiving phone calls from this number for someone else.  They do not live where I do and never have.
