I take it you've never heard of phone number spoofing? This may (or may not) be a phone number for SunTrust bank but that doesn't mean scammers aren't spoofing it.
By the way, why would you come to a phone number look-up site when you already know who called you? Do you often look up known phone numbers?

Took the number into SunTrust and they said it was a SCAM! Our accounts were not in collections nor did we owe anything. So please don’t be fool by these individuals said that they are employees of SunTrust. That’s a lied!!!!

Got a call from this number but left no message.  According to most of the people on this thread it is SunTrust trying to collect on a credit card.  We have a car loan through suntrust but no credit card.  And the few times we ran a little late on the payment and had collections call us they left a message.

Caller id says Suntrust Bank, but if it were a legitimate call from them someone would leave a voice mail instead of hanging up before the 2nd or 3rd ring ends...

This number has called me over 400 times for a $20 credit card debt that is actually a late fee that I will not pay.  They refused to waive it even though I paid the balance and closed the card.  Seems ridiculous that a company would waste their time harassing customers for such small debt that's never gonna be paid. Anyway, I blocked the number in google voice and forgot about it.  Life rolls on.

I see that all these reviews are from some time ago.  Here it is 2020 and I am now getting calls from this number. Normally 5 daily. Yes, I do have a Suntrust card, but I am NOT late on my payments.  Whoever it is NEVER leaves a message. They always call me while I am at work and am too busy to answer my cell phone.

I got a call from this number this morning.. Saying i owe two months on my credit card.. I have it on auto pay so i assumed something stopped working… I payed it over the app because I’m not giving no information over the phone.. Weird part is the previous month was already paid… They are Suntrust because they saw the payment i did over my app but something is weird about this call and how my autopay just happen to not be working when they called..

This is a scam.  They call my house so many times I finally put the number on block, thank God my house phone has a block feature...to make sure my account was in good standing I called SunTrust main number and she verified all my cards and account were fine and no late fees.  The people saying it's legit probably think they were really on the phone to SunTrust not realizing they gave out their card number and personal info to a scammer.

This is a scam call.  I work for Truist Bank and we are getting a lot of inquires about getting calls from this number with the Truist Bank logo on the caller ID.  This is a scam.  I have spoken to security at Truist and this call is out of control.  It seems Truist don't care about these calls and I have reported these calls to Truist and even though I am an employee they don't seem to care that these scam calls are coming.  Truist refuses to do anything to stop these scam calls.  Time to find another job if the company you work for don't want to help scam calls.
