This number with a host of others call all the time. Even thought I reported them on the National Do Not Call Registry...

Paypal collections attempting to collect an account from 2007. Funny thing i never had a paypal account.

This is fraud!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is not paypal it is a scammer

They call me twice a day everyday for about two weeks

It is really Paypal. Why would you think it isn't PayPal?

I owe them like 29 dollars for some kid scamming me. Stupid people, Im not paying it after I gave him what he bought.

Had same issue someone scammed me but for a large amount of 1785$ I told PayPal about it disputed it with them but they sided with the customer. Which pissed me off. They managed to get about $600 out of my linked account so lost that plus the $985 in my cogs

I told them I wasn't paying but not sure what they will do. Screw PayPal switch to square!

Its not a scam, It really is paypal collections.  I had an issue with them.  I had a charge from a company come out of my paypal and even though I changed the main account linked to my paypal, they were trying to take the money from the old one.  There wasn't anything in it. They kept trying over and over, which caused me $200+ in overdraft fees. I contacted Paypal and told them AGAIN that they are supposed to use the account that I changed it to and the next day the same thing...another charge from my old account. I had to go to the bank and put stop payments on the account to prevent them from doing it.  Its ridiculous! Of course paypal says they are not responsible for my over draft fees and the $200 they cost me for a $50 charge....even though I did my part and changed the accounts.  

You CAN'T "report them on the Do Not Call Registry". That's not how the Do Not Call Registry Works.  It is a Government (Federal) run program that only allows consumers to register their own phone numbers (landline, mobile or both and you can register multiple numbers, as many as you have in your name...) and those numbers that you have registered are then on the protected list that telemarketers are not allowed to call and solicit or they face fines and lawsuits.  But you cannot "report a number" for calling you through the Do Not Call Registry, it is simply not possible!

Answered tehy asked for my dad said they were from patpay did not want to tell me the reason for the call. Know for a fact he doesnt have a paypal acct. So is it a scam?

It actually is PayPal - your dad DOES apparently have an account. If he says he doesn't, he either forgot (not likely considering he linked a payment amount, has an outstanding balance, AND has his current contact information), or (more likely) he's just lying to you.

First call from this number . Phone id said "unavailable" so I did not answer it . I do have paypal , but no negative balance or problems with my account .
Most likely a scam as Ive been getting a TON of robo and scam calls today , many already blocked (1 ring thing) but many are new . Happy holiday rip-off's

Yes you can. You call the FTC at 877-382-4357 and as long as you're already registered on the DNC registry you can report any number that is calling. I work for the BBB we do this daily.
